The server, Kierra (sp) was exceptional. Knowledgeable friendly and attentive to her guests.
The food was nicely portioned and fantastic. Can never go wrong with the house barbecue sauce.
The location, the atmosphere, music and ambiance of the establishment was an entire VIBE!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
We ordered a beef brisket (SO TENDER) with a side of the cornbread (AMAZING) and Mac and cheese (interesting but really good flavor) and then I got a side of greens (my favorite) and a side of pulled pork (also EXTREMELY tender). And I SHARED it all with my fiance. And only spent 42 dollars total! 35 dollars for the food, and I tipped them $7.
Which, it’s a mini FEAST and is VERY REASONABLY priced!!!
I have got a new favorite restaurant! ❤️❤️❤️
This was our first time and overall it was a decent experience. The food quality was pretty good and the portions were alright. Our appetizer (fried pickles) and meal (Rib Plate with slaw, potato salad, and cornbread waffles) came out quickly. Kudos to the speed of their kitchen staff. If there’s anything that I ate that I could highly recommend it is the fried pickles.
The hostess and server did a good job.
The atmosphere was relaxed and the cleanliness in the dining room was acceptable.
Overall there was nothing that wowed me and made me want to come back, but I also have zero complaints.
I did appreciate the variety of gluten free selections on the menu. I was a little surprised that they only had two bbq sauce options on the table, but I tried them both and they were good.
I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Revolution Barbeque and give them another try, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to do it.
The full bar is a big plus, offering everything you need to pair with the meal, whether you’re in the mood for a cocktail, beer, or something a little stronger. Service was great, too—friendly, fast, and attentive from start to finish.
Don’t skip dessert. The sweets here are amazing and absolutely worth saving room for.
Overall, Revolution Barbecue delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend.
I need to go back to the beginning. I started with their banana nut bread old fashion. I like a good old fashion and this was old of those. Then, I had pork belly burnt ends. Very tasty! Ended it with their special. A BBQ beef rib with collard greens and cheddar cheese grit cakes. Everything was awesome. The grit cake was something new that I have never had before. Tasty and soft.
If you are driving, threw Lafayette or live in Lafayette and want some really good BBQ. You need to go to Revolution Barbeque.
