Menu Welcome to R|EVOLUTION On Broad Street, in Cranston’s historic Pawtuxet Village stands a restaurant and bar serving quality American fare and cocktails that will provide you the strength for any revolution. But, the odds are (whether you’re stopping by for our legendary Berube burger, after-work cocktails or a celebratory dinner), the welcoming staff and creative plates are sure to make you want to settle in and leave the fight for another day. Owner Dean Scanlon enlisted the help of Providence Painted Signs to create the look and vibe of Revolution American Bistro. The interior pays homage to Pawtuxet Village’s rich historic roots, particularly the burning of HMS Gaspee, an English customs schooner, on June 9, 1772 in Gaspee Point.

The food here was okay. Your typical bar food. The Caesar salad was okay. I also add stews to it which was dry but the flavor was good. The croutons tho were awesome! My husband ordered the George’s chicken sandwich which he enjoyed and the fries were really good.

Staff was wonderful, friendly and attentive. Bar was busy – main dining room was empty. Atmosphere was good – like a ships galley.
Food was okay – had French onion soup, burger with egg and fries. Ton of cheese on the soup – which left not much room for actual soup which was missing the onion. Burger was cooked okay but egg was hard – yolk should be runny. Fries were undercooked, needed to be crispier. The jambalaya was tasty.

My first time dining here. A very patriotic feel from both the name a decor of the restaurant. Super friendly and fun staff. Probably one of the best French onion soups ever! The Ruben sandwich was warm and abundant with corn beef on marble rye. All of which were well portioned. Can’t wait to return.

The menu rotates seasonally, and the seasonal items are some of the best. The French onion meatloaf is top-notch and one of the best menu items. However, the one meal is nearly big enough to serve three, which makes it hard to finish but is great for leftovers. The drinks are all solid, and there are plenty of options. The cajun jambalaya is also decent, but the rice option is a must.
The service is friendly but, during off-peak hours, is surprisingly absent (even when staff are obviously available). The restaurant is located in a great little area for walking around too!

Ordered ahead. Got a pan of Chicken Marsala for Christmas dinner with the family.
OMG. Great decision–I looked like a hero… the flavor, convenience, ease to reheat. I will definitely do it again. Their recipe and prep was… well… was exceptional… no compromises… absolutely perfect.
UPDATE. Dec 31st 2023 – So, we ordered their “Family Style, Hot & Ready” Chicken & Shrimp Jumbalyah. Serves 6. OMG – Absolutely Perfect. So good! (see pic) Easy… And, a great value.

Had a nice lunch here with a friend of mine. We sat at the bar and had great service. The food was good, the restaurant space itself was clean and nice and overall we had a great time.

Came here Monday evening for my sister’s birthday, I had asked her where she wanted to go and said Let’s go to Revolution. I have to say that the dinner here was really delicious. The table we sat at was something different than I have seen, they had repurposed a door which was really cool. They had an issues with the Bluetooth so they were not able to have music which was fine by me. We all ordered something different on the menu, my sister had the mussels with a side Caesar, I had ordered my usual go to for a restaurant which was the New York strip medium, my wife ordered the fried chicken sandwich with tater tots, my son ordered the O.G steak sandwich and my mom ordered the fish and chips. Tater tots you say yes please a plus for a restaurant. We also ordered dessert which was a flourless chocolate torte and skillet chocolate chip cookie which was also delicious. It’s your in the area of Cranston come check this spot out.

Delightful village dining. Despite arriving without a reservation on Mother’s Day we were welcomed and seated promptly at a lovely outdoor table. Service was excellent—both professional and friendly. Morgan and Jen treated us like family. Broad and reasonably priced menu with something for everyone. We were all very happy with our meals, drinks, and dessert.
Thank you for making our Mother’s Day meal as lovely as the weather.

Lovely. Dinner with Ma on a Friday night. Live music at the bar. Server was very friendly. Service was quick. Cute little bistro in Pawtuxet Village. I had Burrata Ravioli with steak. Ma had baked cod. Will go again.
