We went there for lunch about a month ago. We arrived during their brunch hour and they were unwilling to serve any lunch items, due to not having space on the grill. That was understandable. But we had driven over an hour to eat there and were frustrated at the lack of making efforts to accommodate. We decided to stay and hang out for an hour waiting on the lunch menu to begin. We ordered the monte Cristo waffle to have something to snack on. The waffle was dry and crumbling and the ham and cheese were cold. It was NOT good at all. About 15 minutes before lunch, our waitress came around asking if we were ready to order. I said we were waiting on one more person and we would be ready as soon as they got there because we were hungry and waiting for lunch! When my friend arrived, our waitress didn’t come back for over 30 minutes. By the time we ordered and ate lunch, it was a full hour and a half after they began serving lunch ‍ . There were a couple people at our table having drinks. Our waitress kept forgetting to bring the new drinks, and then wasn’t asking if more drinks wanted to be ordered. We had to move stuff around to an empty table beside us to have space to eat. When we got ready to leave, someone else checked us out. We kept seeing our waitress, and she kept passing by our table, but she rarely stopped to check on us. We were all sharing one cup of water at one point bc we had waited so long for refills.

And I hate to say this, because it was previously my fav burger place, but the food was overall disappointing after driving over an hour and waiting over 2 hours to eat. I’m not sure if we will be back.

I do know the manager (or maybe owner?) was out of town that weekend. That shouldn’t affect the service or food quality, but maybe it was part of the reason they seemed to be struggling so badly that day?

Super cute place! Loved the outside seating. I enjoyed the “Mommy’s Melted Snow Cone” drink. It was amazing! We also got the Cajun Fry appetizer as well as the hot and spicy pizza. The only thing I could possibly want to change would be the sausage that was on the pizza. It was not very good on the pizza.

I want to start off by saying that the server was really nice and the service was great. We started off with some cheese curds as an appetizer which was very promising, they came with marinara and ranch. When we got our meals they had messed up on my friends sandwich and he had to wait extra time to get his food. I had ordered a Swiss burger with grilled jalapeños and at first it was alright , but as I kept biting into the burger I would just taste burnt meat and random salty bits, it got so nasty at the end I couldn’t finish it. I had gotten sweet potato tots and they were alright, but they came with icing though when I had asked for ranch?? I had tried my friends cheesesteak sandwich and it was embarrassing, no restaurant should be serving such a small sandwich with such poor quality and taste. The burgers were only off because of the overcooked patties, but that sandwich was a complete joke. We were in town and decided to stop by this place, now we know why the Mexican place next door was packed and this place was a cemetery. We all agreed that we won’t be coming back when In town.

My mom, my sister, & myself decided to try the new menu. First we ordered two appetizers meatballs and cheese/sausage tray. Meatballs were homemade very big and were good. The sausage/cheese tray was really good but definitely needs crackers served with it. We got a BLT, Pimento cheese burger, and a regular burger, loaded cheese fries, & sweet potato tater tots. Sandwiches were good and very big. Tots were good but the loaded cheese fries we didn’t like at all. I believe the cheese sauce is what we didn’t think tasted good. For dessert we ordered the key lime pie. Let just say it was good but the way it was served was in the plastic container that it was purchased it. We looked up the brand and you can buy it at Kroger for $2.99 and save yourself some money. We had to get up to find our server to get refills on drinks and finally decided to stop trying to find her if we needed a refill and just shared a glass. Nice place but definitely needs a bit of work on serve, redo the cheese sauce recipe, & definitely serve the dessert better. Had the dessert been taken out of the wrapper you would have never known it was store bought. Could serve it on a plate with drizzle and then top with a slice of lime. We did let them know that we didn’t like the fries and they did take off some for that. For the 3 of us our bill was 89 before tip so plan on spending at least a $100. Might go back but not anytime soon.

Food was great and service was better! They were slammed with big groups and Kylie Queen made it a point to make sure we were taking care of and our food was out very quickly. She couldn’t have been better.

Wow! This place is an absolute gem. Environment, food and service are all top notch. I much prefer it to its neighbor Baja Grill, which tends to be packed and a bit claustrophobic feeling.

FYI, they have 3 dipping sauces. Curry ketchup is pretty intensely curry flavored. Happy camper is sweet, almost a desert sauce. Pub sauce is my preference, more of a savory choice.

Come check it out, you won’t regret it.

This is quickly becoming the best restaurant in Benton, if not Saline County. The food is top notch! I had a gyro the first time with their scratch made sweet potato tots that pair perfectly with the curry ketchup and cream cheese and cinnamon ‘happy camper’ sauce.

On my second time I had the cheese steak and it is by far one of the best I’ve ever had. The thinly sliced sirloin, caramelized onions and peppers with a coating of mayo on the toasted hoggie was once again, top notch! Also, the shoestring fries paired really well and the $8 pours of buffalo trace is more than fair.

I had the pleasure of working with Craig and Heather when they first opened the Benton location of Baja grill, which is just next door and serves great cali-mex style cuisine. They live the life of real deal restauranteurs and their passion shows in the food they put out at all three of their neighboring restaurants.

I highly recommend that anyone in town or any locals try out Revival, you will not be disappointed.

I’m just disappointed. I drove over here thinking it could be a nice family place to listen to live music together and have dinner. Nowhere online did I see you had to be 16 to sit in the beer garden where you could actually watch the band. Maybe I overlooked it or am just missing why they would do that. Just a warning to other families that may be thinking similarly!
