This is second time we dined at Revival and love this restaurant. Our waiter Matt did everything he could to ensure we had a perfect dinner. He explained every item on the menu in detail and talked to the chef about changing an entree to meet dietary needs. The Low Country Pirlou is absolutely amazing. The Salmon had 3 excellent sauces and the Key Lime Pie was incredible. Absolutely delicious exquisite fine dining!

This is a yop notch place. Victor was amazing. He helped us pick out a wine we loved and complimented our dinner. The she crab soup is amazing. The lowcountry pirlou is phenomenal. My next trip back here will be for the exact same thing….including having Vic as our server.

Food was outstanding. We had lobster arancini, sweet potato gnocchi with pomegranate seeds, creamed corn, and for dessert, pumpkin cheesecake. Everything was delicious, served perfectly by our server Steven, who was so pleasant and helpful in our selections. He did not steer us wrong. So glad we chose this restaurant.

Sara was an amazing server. Took great care of us for my wife’s birthday. The new seasonal gnocchi dish was to die for. The creamed corn was awesome and the key lime pie finished off an amazing meal. Beautiful restaurant, and super cool artsy hotel to walk a round after dinner. Also amazing to see the restaurant manager talking to every table and helping on the floor. Great overall experience.

Nice restaurant attached to a gallery. Small-medium sized dining room. Was not busy and we were able to walk in with a large party. Service was excellent, prompt without being over the top and very helpful. She crab was the standout. Excellent sourdough bread service as well. I had the cauliflower steak, which was ok, I don’t think veggie dishes are really their thing. Other dishes that got good reviews included the low country pirlou and lamb chops.

Had the pleasure of dining at this place as we were staying at the hotel but had a great time. The server and manager was super friendly and helpful so they get 5 stars!

I had the Lamb chops which weee good and cooked perfectly! Wish I had some mint jelly but they did not have any

We also got the Pirlou which is almost like a paella. It was ok but could have used allot more flavor. I would rate that 3 stars

The dragonfly spritzer cocktails were really good and refreshing. Worth ordering if you want something light and refreshing

The she crab soup was really good!

The sourdough bread was good and had a light grill on it.

As a whole the experience was good and everything seems to be fresh. Good spot to check out and the hotel attached is really cool and has a funky gallery!

I wanted to share my experience because I do not feel Revival is fine dining as described. The place was close to empty on a saturday night and the decor is minimal. The dishes look beautiful but they fall short in taste. The scallop appetizer was OK but served room temperature. I ordered the Pirlou and the seafood was so overcooked that the mussels shriveled up to the size of a pea and the shrimp were hard. The rice tasted like it was the burned pieces at the bottom of the pot. The fish special was a strange gray color and didnt have a lot of flavor. To be fair, i did share feedback with the server and manager who were both very nice, apologetic, and provided excellent service. There are so many fine dining options in downtown Charleston, I would not recommend this one.

My husband took me to Revival on 12/26 for my birthday. We arrived for our reservation and were greeted promptly by the friendly staff. Steven, our Server, introduced himself, was friendly, engaging, knowledgeable about the menu, and offered suggestions. He brought our cocktails quickly and our first course of foie gras was fabulous! My husband’s lobster bisque was excellent as were my escargots. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his lowcountry perlou and my flounder special was delicious. the key lime tart for dessert was fabulous and we ended the evening with a glass of port and bourbon. Highly recommend Revival and the exceptional service provided by Steven. We appreciated the general manager stopping by our table as well. Delightful evening! Will certainly plan to return and have recommended to friends!

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Revival. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. This was an outstanding evening. Our server was Steven, he was professional, informative and very personable. We throughly enjoyed our evening.

The atmosphere is eclectic, very relaxing and enjoyable. The meal was never rushed, each courses were brought out at a very even, enjoyable pace.

Highly recommend for a upscale dining experience.

My husband and I recently enjoyed a very nice dinner at Revival – Charleston. We ordered the filet and the pistachio halibut and both dishes were delicious and served piping hot. Our server was personable and attentive. He even asked if the temperature in the area in which we were seated was comfortable! Though there was a slight mix-up with one of our meals, the manager went above and beyond to compensate us – far more than what we had ever imagined or expected. Thank you! We will definitely plan to dine at Revival again, at some point, when we’re back in the area:)
