This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants. The chef knows how to pair flavors! This probably our 5th or 6th time here. We go on special occasions due to the cost. However, it is always worth the effort and money. I definitely recommend getting reservations as it books up fast. The menu is not very large and does fluctuate sometimes. But if you’re looking for 5 star restaurant quality this is the best option around.
It can be a little loud at times, as they do have a bar area in the rear. However it’s never been too loud for us. You won’t be disappointed here!

10/10 highly recommend to anyone wanting an elevated dining experience with an incredible atmosphere. We dined at the back bar and it was peaceful, quiet but had a fantastic experience. It was a Saturday night, so reservations are highly recommended, but getting in at the bar was a non-issue. We ordered the short rib and the pork shank – both incredibly delicious. We also ordered two of the cocktails and would highly recommend the apple crisp cocktail. We ordered the beets as an appetizer and have never been more impressed with beets!

We have been here a few times now, and each time has been as good or better each time. The staff is top notch. James the GM. Talia and Julia bartenders and server Nadia have always been super great. The food is out of this world.
Everything from the burger to the Filet is so delicious. Definitely one of our best favorite places.

The food is always excellent! Cheese curds are a special favorite of mine, but the tiramisu cheesecake was exceptional!! I took it home because my steak filled me up. The sink salad is an exceptional one, if you ever want to try it.

Ok let’s talk about it, had a reservation at 430, arrived at 436. The doors still locked, we waited for a few minutes and finally they unlocked the door. The inside is dark and not the warmest place to go to. The waitress Julia was so nice, and made up for a lot of the short falls. We started with cheese curds. The veggies on top are in a sweet brine which wasn’t to good. The curds on the other hand were amazing. We then both got the filet. I will say the cook was great, the seasoning not that impressive. I had a cocktail and a zombie dust. We then got desert, I got the creme brûlée, let me say it tasted like pudding and no where near a good one. My wife got the jar desert which tasted like banana pudding. Nothing spectacular. The price 152.00 plus tip. Let’s say there were some good points but overall it’s not worth St Elmo’s prices. I’m not disappointed, I just know the cost versus the quality, I will not be back. I feel bad as our server was the brightest point. Service makes the experience better as I’m sure the post would be worse if we hadn’t had that great service.

The reviews I read prior to going there were almost spot on. Count on waiting about an hour from the time you order until your entrée arrives. They seemed properly staffed, but drinks got refilled slowly. My wife ordered the short rib tacos, said they had no flavor, couldn’t eat them. She also ordered the Brussels sprouts, and rock shrimp, and said they were very good. I had the Steak Freites. The steak was flavorful, the fries were crispy, but barely warm, cooled down very fast. The atmosphere was good, somewhat loud. Bathrooms had paper towel dispensers out of roll towels, but had a stack of interfolded towels sitting on top of the dispenser almost out of sight. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience, and it wasn’t terrible. I don’t think it was worth $90.00. We probably will give other restaurants a shot before we try this one again.

I stopped in for a week night late dinner.
Good service as the staff was starting to wrap up their night.
I ordered an old fashioned and pork chop.
The CITY water is bad. This means the ice is bad as well. Please have someone sell them a filter!
The old fashioned was served with that same cubed ice. If only it was a single quality cube it would have made it much better.
The bone in pork chop looks amazing! Beautiful presentation, and while being tender it was dry. Mixed with the roasted root vegetables and purée, it was very tasty.
In summary, good experience but the food and beverage was less than expected.

We visited for our anniversary and probably won’t go back any time soon. We didn’t have a reservation, but the wait was not that bad, about 15 minutes. We sat at the bar and got drinks while we waited. After they brought us to our table, we didn’t see any wait staff for about 10 minutes. We ordered the shrimp appetizer, which was really good. It was quite a while before our server came to take our order. Then it took a long time for us to get our food. We had been there for more than hour before our food came. People who had been sat after us got their food before we did. We were just about to leave (it was almost 9:00 pm at this point), when they finally brought our food. I got the filet. The glaze on top was good, but the steak itself did not have much flavor. The mashed potatoes were fine, but the asparagus was completely burnt. My husband got the lamb bolognaise, and he said it was fine. We got a dessert to share, which was good. I was trying to figure out if this was supposed to be an upper scale restaurant or not. Some of the staff were dressed in all black, but our server was in khaki shorts and tennis shoes. I was going to take pictures of our meals, but it took so long to get to us, that I forgot. They did end up comping our appetizer and a dessert, so they tried to make up for.

I don’t even know where to begin because this diner has completely redefined what I thought was possible when it comes to flavor. Hands down, this is the best tasting food I have EVER had in my life. I’ve eaten at fancy restaurants, popular chains, and hidden gems, but nothing—and I mean nothing—comes close to what this place delivers.

Every bite was an explosion of perfectly balanced seasoning, freshness, and soul. You can taste the passion in the cooking. It’s like the food was handcrafted just for me. The depth of flavor is so rich and layered, I found myself literally closing my eyes to savor every mouthful.

The beets, cheese curds, and rev salad, was out of this world—crispy, juicy, buttery, tender, everything you could ever dream of in one plate. Even the sides and sauces had me scraping the plate. The flavor wasn’t just good—it was life-changing.

The pork chop was perfect, absolutely perfect. If I could give 10 stars, I would. This diner deserves awards. I will be back again and again—and I’ll be bringing everyone I know. If you’re craving something that tastes like it was made in food heaven, run, don’t walk.

We reserved the Revery for our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner. I can’t express how grateful I am to James and his staff. The food was immaculate and the environment was joyful. I’d like to especially thank Libby and Joey. The service they provided our party was top notch. Without hesitation, I would book the Revery for future parties.
