Really yummy, I particularly enjoyed my short rib ragu, it was so dam good and I loved having the whole juicy tender rib. Their carbonara was also really good and had a delicious sauce alongside it. The appetizer we had was really good, the prosciutto was great and polenta fries incredible.

Came here to celebrate my birthday and it was great! The atmosphere is very nice inside, it’s intimate, and cozy. There is a live kitchen so can see the food being prepped. The service was great as well, David was awesome and made us feel super well taken care of! And lastly, the food was amazing. Everyone was happy with their food and the short rib pappardelle was so good.

Very great authentic Italian food. Highly recommend pasta and secondi dish. Everything tasted like it would in Italy. Truly blown away by the freshness and flavor of the carbonara, carciofi (crazy they have this super regional Roman dish) and tiramisu. Absolutely would come back many times
Only room for improvement was the staff. I asked my server if the pasta was big or if I should order seconds and she didn’t seem to understand the reasoning. She said to just order pasta and it was definitely not big enough by itself. Also I asked for an Italian bottle of wine and she brought a Argentinian one. Water didn’t get refilled much either. Definitely needs to train staff better.

Loved the food – contemporary Italian style food cooked at a small but check homestyle restaurant. Try their range of pastas with seafood and paired with their house wine. Any visit here is sure to be a delight

I had a great dining experience! I like that the menu was posted on the sidewalk and and the prices were clearly marked. I picked Retrobottega because it had rabbit on the menu. I ordered the Cavatelli (shredded rabbit meat, beans, and pasta). I ordered an Old Fashion rye whiskey drink, and a glass of Cabernet wine with dinner. I also ordered a type of tempora appetizer which had octopus, fish, and shrimp. I couldn’t finish all of that, I was too full. The atmosphere was good, but the venue was small. It was cozy. Maybe the bartender thought I was a food reviewer, because he was very friendly. He asked my name, where I was from, and shook my hand. I felt very welcomed. I was solo dining that night.

David was so great today! My husband and I came at 9.40 on a Sunday for our 9.30 reservation and we were really sorry that we were late and asked if we could still be served and he said no problem! He kindly let us know the kitchen was doing final call and we quickly ordered. The food came promptly and he kept making sure everything was good. Pretty sure the rest of the staff had gone home because of how late it was but David pleasantly stayed through, not one complaint, and kindly got us our appetizer, entree, dessert, drinks and espresso and also turned on the music so we had a nice ambiance! One of our favorite places for date night! Had to leave a review because of how great David’s service was!

Good vibes. Great people. Awesome bartender, David was amazing and very attentive to our party at the bar, drinks were delicious the food was amazing! He was very helpful and providing me options in gluten free pasta which came out timely and was DELICIOUS! Would highly recommend to anyone in this area looking for some good pasta and tasty cocktails and nice chill vibes with friends and/or going on a date with someone.

Food does not taste good. The pasta is very hard and for squid ink pasta there is salmon in it. The salt is put unevenly in every dish. Even bread is too salty. Atmosphere is cute though.

Service was wonderfully attentive. Food may be exquisite, but if service isn’t it can minimize the entire experience. Thanks to Cristian and the entire staff for making my first (of many) visits delightful. And the food was exquisite. Our group enjoyed the caprese and fritto mixto to start, and the branzino, ravioli, tagliarini and octopus for entrees. Cocktails were good, but not remarkable.
