Retro Lounge has a nice vibe and a cool atmosphere, especially if you’re looking for a laid-back place to grab food and hang out. The music and overall setting give it a fun, social energy.
The food was decent and the experience overall was okay, but there were a few things that could have been better — whether it was service timing or consistency. It wasn’t a bad experience by any means, just not quite what I expected.
With a few improvements, this spot could easily be a go-to. I’d consider giving it another try.

I have been going to the retro for a couple of years now. I tradionally have a good time. Here lately the atmosphere has just shifted. Young women with all there assets out. Young men with baseball hats and pants sagging. Weed smoking on the patio. Younger genre of music playing, parking lot full of unruly drama. I guess it’s time I find another chill spot. I’m not equipped to feel unsafe. Bright spot the chicken and fish are still good.

Gotta love the little things. Amenities outside the ladies restroom is a great touch. Friday nights there’s a $5 cover which was surprising but her gotta keep the lights on and security paid. Great food, pleasant atmosphere and the bartender service has gotten better and better. Definitely have to get here early or parking can be a challenge, but overall it’s fine because there’s always people coming and Oriole leaving.

Great “get out” spot for the older crowd. Sometimes the music is a little too loud for my old ears, but i enjoy the selection of music. The dance floor is a little small. This place can get super crowded. Fast. Wish they had more than one pool table, but where would they put it? Food is good here, thought the wings were expensive, but they gave us whole wings, so it was a decent price.

I come in from Cleveland every once in a while this was my third time coming to his bar. The first time was ok back in 2016 the second and third I hate the service. The people are always rude. Food has no taste and I probably just won’t be coming back to this bar. but again, I am an older woman probably just not the bar for me. May find another place next time I come back to Columbus.
