Came in on a Monday at lunchtime, no one even in the place. Burger okay nothing special but one thing I noticed is this place could use a good cleaning. Tables floors and those filthy windows out back. One can only wonder what the kitchen looks like.

I called in take out for lunch. I had the retro burger and it was absolutely amazing. 10/10. Burger was fresh, toppings were fresh and aesthetically pleasing. Fries were thick cut and fried to perfection. Will definitely be returning for dine in

I’ve driven by this place and really wanted to stop by. I love the retro atmosphere and friendly service. My husband and I got burgers and fries. Lemme tell you—-the fries were GOOD and if you’re a burger person like us, we loved the HIPSTER BURGER. Bacon Jam, Gouda Cheese, Avocado Spread on Sesame Seed bun….woohooo it did not disappointment. We even got to shoot some pool. I lost though. Haha. I was pleasantly surprised and will be visiting again! I had to get an Oreo shake to go

I think this place focuses more on the aesthetic and concepts of the restaurant rather than quality in food and service.

The milkshakes were very bland and just tasted like slightly sweet milk. The burgers were seasoned with a unique blend that left a weird after taste (maybe too much cumin?)

My husband ordered the mushroom patty melt and it was falling apart by the second bite cause it was soaked in balsamic. The mushrooms were extremely sour and difficult to get down.

The service was okay, our waitress was very nice but they just seemed very short staffed. It took as an hour to get our entrees

The only positive in the food were the fries, they were crispy and well seasoned. But I feel that for a burger place, the star of the show should be the burgers.

We really wanted to like this place and tried to make the most of it, but unfortunately we will not be returning.

Showed up for lunch on a Sunday. The place wasn’t packed but enough people to have a good atmosphere. The service was fast and attentive. Our server made good suggestions and noticed it was my birthday.
The food was great! Everything we tried was full of flavor. Pulled pork nachos were great! French Onion burger… Amazing! Crabby Patty awesome!
Good draft beer selection. Also, cans. One of the kids had milkshake and loved it.
And guess what, they threw in dessert for free in my birthday.

Stepping into Retro Burger is like entering a time capsule of vibrant retro vibes. The aesthetic charm of the place creates a visually engaging and nostalgic atmosphere. The prices are reasonably pocket-friendly, making it an accessible spot for those craving a touch of retro without breaking the bank. However, while the atmosphere and prices are noteworthy, the food fails to leave a lasting impression. It’s not necessarily bad, but it lacks that extra spark to make it truly special. In essence, Retro Burger succeeds in offering a visually delightful and affordable retro experience.

The aesthetic of this place is good. Goes with the name and the theme is well played out, inside. However, the food was a bit of a let down. Some dishes had creativity while an original was lacking. We had the ramen burger which was loaded with ramen ingredients also ramen buns, but it didn’t quite wow us. I had what would be considered ur basic deluxe cheese burger. The buns were dry, there was no flavor really to any of it definitely a big let down. We then had poutine. I loveee poutine but I’ve had much better. The gravy was pretty watery and the cheese was MIA. They were definitely short staffed that day but the service was still really good. You could see one waiter just running from table to table trying to please everyone. Once they have mastered their flavors I think they would be really good!

First time dining here and rate 10/10!! The atmosphere was groovy. Our server by the name of Kent was friendly, welcoming, and very personable. Not to mention he can make one mean milkshake! Wings 10/10 burger was 15/10 Mac and cheese was 10/10. Just an amazing spot overall.

Amazing service Kade was very kind and helpful navigating fantastic menu options for my food allergies. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer which is an AMAZING find for a restaurant. I got the chimichurri steak with fries. The steak was so tender and flavorful and the fries were crispy. Highly recommend if you have allergies or celiac! Or even if you don’t have any the food was delicious.

Still slow since opening. Only one waiter for the whole restaurant. Food was tasty but not worth the price. Double burger crumbles as it’s too heavy for the bun. No onion rings? Or side pickles? Might be better for a late night scene with a cool atmosphere.
