⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Bebek Jonni, Bali

One of the best places in Bali for duck lovers. The duck was perfectly cooked — tender inside with crispy skin, full of flavor and well-seasoned.

The sambal was excellent and paired really well with the duck, giving that authentic local taste. Portions were satisfying and everything felt freshly prepared.

The atmosphere was casual and comfortable, suitable for a relaxed meal. Service was friendly and quite fast despite the place being popular.

Highly recommended if you’re looking for a delicious local meal in Bali, especially for bebek lovers.

Typical tourist trap with most of the cab drivers bringing their tourists here for obvious reasons. One can find mostly tourists here.
The place is no doubt good with lots of greenery ,ample fields around and water channels.Open air seating area with outdoor garden seating offers a great relaxed ambience.
Food and beverages options are decent but extremely expensive compared to other restaurants around.
Their famous Bebek (Duck) is too dry, rubbery and tasteless.Chicken satay is poorly cooked.
Nasi Goreng and fried banana were better.
Food and beverages are too expensive.Additional 10% service charge is a loot.
Not at all recommended. There are many popular restaurants offering far tasty bebeks and chicken at much cheaper pricing.
Pl avoid this tourist trap.

Outside dining experience. Plenty of fans to help keep cool. Sit at a table in large outdoor dining area or choose individual little pavilion style tables. Scenery and outdoor gardens to die for. Grounds are huge, its probably one of the largest venues I’ve ever visited.

Coconuts and mangos on tress surrounding grounds. Lily pond and lotus flowers just opposite dining area, everything is so picturesque.

Food was good, pallete is good for westerners and locals. In the grands scheme of things not that expensive if converted back to GBP. Good value for money given the experience. Went back again for takeaway after dining in the first night.

Close to Udub Town centre so access is easy. If your in Ubud it’s definitely worth a visit and more so if you enjoy crispy duck.

I was lucky enough to eat in this spectacle restaurant with water garden view of beautiful lotus. I visited on end of the October. And it was right season for blossoming.
I had famous duck dish, which was perfectly cooked with spicy sauce on the side.
I had dragon fruits juice. If you don’t like too sweet drink, it’s better to ask less sweet.
I highly recommend to this place to anyone who came to Ubud.

Our private driver recommended this place, but I think it’s a tourist trap. We ordered three dishes, and all of them were served cold, even though it took a while for the food to arrive. The coconut water tasted strange and was warm — I had one sip and couldn’t drink any more. The chicken was so tough, almost impossible to chew, causes instant jaw strain. It was our 9th day in Bali, never experienced bali belly except after visiting this place. The atmosphere was nice, but that’s the only positive. Overall, extremely disappointing food quality, staff were unprofessional and inattentive. Don’t go — it was the worst restaurant of our entire Bali experience.

Great scenery, food was average although had a huge variety to choose from. The restaurant is massive and can cater to large groups and functions as well as small intimate gatherings. Beautiful ambience outside with views of temples, rice fields and paddocks.

On a side note- apparently if you have a driver they eat for free (according to our driver anyway!) whilst waiting for you to finish your meal which if true, is amazing!

Wow – our first restaurant in Ubud so my opinion might me slightly bias but the place was so beautiful – surrounded by rice fields and nature with water running in between the seating area – it was beautiful!

The food was nice, not mind blowing just nice – the waitress recommended me crispy duck and it didnt disappoint. We also had chicken (I forgot the name) but both dishes had really good flavour and was cooked well!

There is a normal sitting area with table and chairs but there are also these mini raised temple like structures where you can sit with you legs crossed and eat.

Super super touristy place with photo spots and alot of tourists. I thought the food was going to be bad but the traditional roasted/smoked duck was quite good, i mean if you’re going to order the western food then i assume it wouldn’t be great but the duck, which is the whole point of coming here, is still quite good and really nice but it’s quite pricy, given that its quite touristy and its outdoors-ish so the weather and the ambiionrnche is quite nice

As you’ve surmised from many other reviews- drivers bring people here. It’s a fairly decent tourist trap, but what extra you pay for food is made up for in the landscaping. Place is really big so flagging down service might be tricky.

I don’t think you’ll be unhappy here, unless you really don’t like the idea of a “tourist trap”. It is a trap, just fairly comfortable.

Oh, landscaping is negated if you come after dark. When you can’t see the pretty surroundings it’s just a fancy more expensive warung.

We visited **Restoran Bebek Joni** and had a great experience! We ordered the **Nasi Campur Bali**, which was flavorful and perfectly prepared, as well as the **Vegetarian Nasi Goreng**—fresh, well-seasoned, and equally delicious. A very pleasant place with excellent food, definitely worth recommending!
