Been missing tequeños since I left miami, happy to have found this place. The waitress Yohanly was really really helpful in helping decide between which arepa to get, highly highly recommend coming here. If you do, ask for Yohanly!!!

Food was great, you can tell fresh home made authentic. But going on a Saturday at 5pm there was only 1 young kid doing everything- taking orders, serving, and cleaning. And it was obvious the kitchen probably had only one other person as our cachapa was rushed and mushy. They were overwhelmed dealing with dine in and pick up orders. We came here because of the insta advertising which clearly someone knows how to do well but they need to invest in having more people. I wanted to order a drink from the bar from what I saw online but the bar area seemed closed and counters were dirty. The last thing I was going to do was stress the poor kid out doing the best he could.

I visited this place about six months ago and had a 5-star experience — great food and good service. However, my recent visit was disappointing. I ordered a cachapa with pork to go, but they gave me one with shredded beef instead. It wasn’t bad, just not what I asked for. The portion was smaller than expected, and the flavor was pretty average. I felt a really heavy atmosphere while waiting for my order: I was also the only customer there, yet I didn’t feel welcomed at all. Sadly, this visit didn’t live up to my first experience.

We arrived here with a few friends who used to live in Venezuela. As per their recommendations we ordered pabellon and llenara arepas, Malta soda, our friends ordered the burgers, which they loved. They say this is authentic Venezuelan food. The pabellon arepa was the best. The Malta soda was very molassesy and thick. My husband enjoyed it. It was too sweet for me to finish the whoel bottle but it was tasty. Service is a bit slow but it was worth the wait in my mind.

It’s ok, but i wouldn’t come back. I been trying to come here for a while and finally was able yesterday. It was a great disappointment . The food looked awesome (looked). I ordered the Bandeja Paisa and an appetizer. The rice was bland, like it needed more salt. The beans(habichuelas) had no flavor. The beef was also lacking flavor.
It was like hospital food, flavorless.
2 plates, 1 beer, and 1 soda were 39 usd.

The price is not the issue, but paying for a lunch plate that is flavorless, like every part of it, it’s really disappointing, I won’t risk giving another try to the place.

Good luck to anyone who goes there.

My friend and I are always wanting to try something different
I had never eaten Venezuelan food before. We didn’t know what the majority of the dishes were. The waitress was patient and described the dishes. I ordered the Arepa Pelua. It was delicious. The meat was extremely flavorable. The arepa had a really good texture and flavor. Different from a corn gordita. It doesn’t come with sides, which was disappointing. Especially since that was $10. Silverware is not provided and they don’t take your drink ordered until you order your food.
Maybe its a culture thing. I did enjoy my Arepa though.

Great to finally find some variety in Latin cuisine in El Paso. First time here and wanted to stay on the safe side and try the arepas. Ordered the arepa filled with shredded chicken, very filling and tasted fresh. The consistency of the arepa was great, thin and buttery! They have a variety of salsas to suit every taste. Their take of kind of a roasted tomato salsa was on point in spiciness and was tasty! Had Venezuelan kola and was refreshing and fruity. The service was great, I went around 530 pm and was not busy, but the music was relaxing. can’t wait to go back and try more items!

I love to see small buisness wear their hearts on their sleeves, or in this case their plates. The food was amazing. Ordered some empanadas that were amazing, not what you may be used to if your Caribbean but uniquely delicious. No risk of getting an emptynada here. Filled to the brim with no space left behind.
Moving onto the entrees the arepa was 5 star delicious. Stuffed to the brim and with beans and sweet plantains to make the heart sing for home. Being Dominican in El Paso this was such a wonderful taste of familiar flavors.
Let’s talk about this sandwich. Flavors of home that are untouchable. It’s like a Puerto Rican tripleta on crack. A torta of torta for this from Central America. You won’t have to worry about leaving hungry. Food portions are for sharing and the flavors are just amazing. Make sure to grab some fresh juice as well as you won’t be disappointed.

We travel around the . This is by far the most fresh, delicious, amazing Venezuelan restaurant. You feel you are in Caracas enjoying the delicious areas, empanadas… today we try the ” sopa de mondongo” great service, best food. This is a must STOP in EL PASO. You might cross an MLB Venezuelan player or coaches and ex Leones player here. This is the best food. I love they have music “Llanera” playing. Juice is real fresh, they thought every detail
