Shrimp were like rubber and had a strong smell I expected way more quality food is usually decent. I was told by server that it still need it to be paid as the shrimp was “not old”
We didn’t say the food was old. There are many factors that can cause the shrimp to go bad (I.e shrimp left out to thaw out too long, walk in not reaching temp, etc) we had the intention of paying regardless as we always do but instead received a disagreement from the kitchen staff definitely not coming back here

I’m sick so I ordered a Caldo de res, it comes with a side of rice, and big hand made tortilla de maiz!! Wow the flavor was just amazing. I ordered late and im so amazed the flavor was not of that made days or even a day before. It was so fresh and cooked perfectly well. I ordered a lemonade as well and delicious. I also ordered a telera and they toast it with butter and wrap it up nicely. Ugh best experience ever!!! Must try… I’m only reviewing because I havent had food so good in a long time and it feels home made not restaurant made, crazy I know lol.

Place is kind of overpriced even for an 8oz coffee one free refill (call me cheap everywhere coffee refill is free and unlimited) portions a little small for the price. Other than that food is ok.

The meals that my girlfriend and I had were not good to the taste and were brought cold. I believe we were one of 2 tables and food was still brought out cold. That doesn’t bode well for Mexican food when heat is essential to the meal. My tamales were cold in the inside. Only the sauce was warm to the touch. I won’t be going back here. 1st impressions are critical when there is a hundred more places to eat.

The food and service was overall terrible. There were only two customers the server was taking care of and she was talking only with the other customer. The server took forever to get our food order and deliver it to our table. The food was also bland, definitely would not recommend.
