Such a beautiful setting and we were anticipating a great meal. We ordered two of our favorites, Mejillones al vapor and arroz negro. Steamed mussels are impossible to mess up… but the rice arrived and it was a smallish portion and absolutely bathed in oil. Seriously the quantity of oil was absolutely absurd and it wasn’t even a good quality oil. We raise the question to the manager who told us that they put lots of extra high quality oil so that we would enjoy our bread. But we had refused the bread and not even ordered it! and arroz negro isn’t about any bread. Look at the pics!!!! When the bill arrived we saw that we were also charged for the bread we had never had. I suggest giving this place a miss, If you walk east a hundred meters or so there’s a string of better restaurants which we found out too late.

We had a wonderful lunch here of grilled scallops, espetos and grilled sea bream. The mixed salad came with tuna, egg, carrots, corn, tomato, onions and white asparagus. Our server helped to break down the sea bream for us after presenting it whole on the platter. Excellent food and service!

Lovely restaurant, pleasant service, delicious food, and clean bathrooms. On the way to the bathrooms, I discovered the lovely top floor terrace, but it was a bit hotter up there than by the beach.

We took starter: gazpacho, olives and Tortilla de Camarones. As a main dish we had Fritura Malagueña (Mix for 2) and some red wine. Everything was sooo good and fresh!! I can’t recommend the place more! The portion of main dish was huge, we couldn’t even finish 🙂
