This spot was fantastic and totally worth a 20min walk from our hotel! Excellent, fresh food, gorgeous view both in the daytime and in the evening. Our 5 year old enjoyed the food here as well. Also memorable was the seafood platter (I believe they only serve this in the evening), but makes sense to call in advance to ensure they can make it that day (they make whatever is caught that day). The staff was excellent, the chef chatted with us one evening and it was a pleasure to talk with him. This spot is not a loud place- it’s got a very pleasant, chilled out atmosphere. We enjoyed it very much!

Quite a disappointing dinner experience tonight. We chose this restaurant based on its proximity to our hotel and some nice reviews. The menu was very limited with outrageous prices – we paid $80 USD for a paella for 2. Like seriously?!? It was mostly rice with maybe 5 shrimps, a few clams, some mussels and limited vegetables. You could find a better and waaaay less expensive paella in Michigan… Also chef made us a shrimp salad that wasn’t on the menu, and that ended up costing us $26. The waiter tried to upsell on everything and made us feel quite rushed. Definitely will not be back here and would not recommend this restaurant

This is great location to have a drink or a meal in the Tulum Beach area. They have a happy hour where you can get 2 for 1 margaritas or mojitos. You can eat on the beach itself or in another area looking over the beach. They have a few vegan options, at least for lunch when I was there, including a homemade vegan burger and vegan tacos. Both were great but the tacos come with a strawberry salsa that was a bit too sweet for me but they swapped it for regular salsa. They also have a vegan dessert! Avocado chocolate mousse which is fantastic.

Came here for breakfast, had the huevos rancheros with salsa Verde and a passion fruit juice. This was my favorite meal during my vacation. The server was also really friendly and attentive, it wasn’t crowded, beautiful beach view, and the prices were more affordable than most places nearby.

A perfect combination of good service, beautiful beach and delicious food at a reasonable price. Try guacamole, fish ceviche and grilled octopus here – all delicious. Recommended!)

I’d give this place 6 stars if I could. We came for a beach day and ate lunch and dinner here, as well as lounging on the beach. The spot is gorgeous, everyone was super nice, and both meals outstanding. The lunch was the Mexican standards, done really well, and the seafood at dinner was fantastic. I got grilled squid and my wife fish. We were with our 12 year old and they were great with him as well. An absolutely fantastic day and night at Las Estrellas!

Was a special place, just pitch perfect setting that feels authentic! I call it simple luxury. The staff was amazing from the girl at the front desk that let borrow her phone charger and showed us a room for a future stay to the servers that were attentive and very friendly. The shared platter was so good as was the ceviche and drinks. Thanks again for making our one evening excursion to Tulum very memorable.

All vegans in Tulum must come here! So many good options in a beautiful setting. We came twice during our stay and will come back in the future. Nowhere else on the beach had so many unique choices for vegans and they were so good too. Even their dessert is vegan.
