The guacamole was good (there were no chips), but that’s all. I ordered fried fish tacos. What I got was greasy dough pockets with what must have been canned salmon inside. Absolutely not fresh. I could not eat it and balled it up in napkins. The juice was watered down from a box. The server was nice, and the beach is lovely, but the food was revolting. And if you take a combi, be careful of all the stray dogs wandering around while you wait for it.

We arrived a little after 6:00 pm and the place was empty, but the owner was very gracious and gave us a table. It looked like he kept the staff there just for us. We enjoyed cold cervezas, delicious wood oven pizza and a beautiful sunset. Lagartos is a little out of the way, but worth the drive.

This is a beautiful beach spot (Playa Blanca) with a humble local restaurant serving delicious food. You can rent tables and chairs to stay on the beach and not be bothered by the crazyness of the restaurant. The ocean is calm (season permitting) and you can swim. Very friendly people!

Wow, we were very happy with our choice to come here for dinner. It was quiet but the servers were friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome. The food was excellent! We had to tuna sashimi to start which was really great and the shrimp fajitas were incredible! Definitely recommend this spot for a lunch or dinner.

We love Lagartos. Mils gracias a Levi y familia for many wonderful meals. awesome Pizza’s from the wood oven and even barbacoa and Pozole nights upon request. Love the clean pool, relaxed atmosphere and epic sunsets.

We were the only patrons at this time. It was a late lunch. Food was good and we would come back. Green river chicken was a nice flavor and not spicy. If coming with kids make sure to note pizza starts at 3pm

Great meal for all three of us. My husband had the arrechera done med rare he was very pleased with his meal. We also enjoyed the pear salad. And tempora battered fish and the special potatoes. Totally enjoyed.

We tried eating dinner there that was also a mistake . The shrimp was so over cooked the shells wouldn’t come off them ,the beef was like a 80 year old cow that you could not chew, and the chicken was so dry they should have called it jerky. Totally tasteless and a second waste of money and time .
