A charming seaside chiringuito-style restaurant with authentic Andalusian vibes and outstanding seafood. Ideal for those who appreciate local flavors and a natural, open-air setting.

La Viborilla is tucked away in a lush, tropical cove with direct access to a secluded beach. The setting is tranquil and beautifully shaded by palm trees, offering a perfect combination of sea breeze and dappled light. The vibe is casual, family-friendly, and authentically local.

La Viborilla offers an experience, not just a meal. It’s the kind of place where time slows down. The view, the food, and the atmosphere create a memory. Perfect for long lunches with friends or family, especially if you’re craving paella or grilled seafood near the water.

Very casual place, so you can leave your fancy dress for a different occasion.
I visited this restaurant 3 times in a week.
There is lot of good things you can get,but since is a beach bar there are some misses too.
I was lucky to always receive the best.
Tony is the main character, his approach is what pure Spanish hospitality looks like.

As some people say you have bread on arrival but it is not mandatory, so if you don’t want it just way no straight away and they won’t charge you for it. The waiters and waitress do speak a bit of English but their way of speaking can come across straight forward for some people.

This place is open every day from morning till night so can pass by and ask for table.
If you want to avoid busy hours avoid any time from 21:30/22:00.

Ps.:Torrijas is a must try , it is a homemade Spanish dessert.

Over the sea restaurant. If you’re lucky you can get sea views. If you reserve late be careful cause you can get a table under the trees and birds might poo on you. Very authentic place. Fresh food. Loved the torrija for desert. One of the best I’ve had.

This is a 3.5 really but didn’t want to give 4 stars.

Raised sea views across a small bay make for a beautiful setting in this lovely and very lively spot located in what can be classed as a somewhat bland/samey/tourist area on Costa del Sol.

First the good bits. The staff, friendly and attentive. The views. The food – the freshly cooked food was delicious and cooked well.

The bad bits. The main outside service area is away from the main restaurant and was a dumping place for plates, cutlery, glasses, food remains etc. a real eyesore and not pleasant to witness. They really do their best to clear the area but as restaurant is so busy, this is very difficult. Perhaps a bamboo screen might be beneficial.

Use of pre-made/packaged products for bread/tinto de verano/ desserts. Would be a nice touch if these were all homemade/prepared. Again, appreciate that there are a lot of covers but this would elevate the restaurant to another level.

Beautiful location, sitting outside on the patio above the Ocean waves lapping up on the beach and Rocks below. The staff Staff very attentive and polite. We visited twice in a week, first having the Seafood Platter, which was amazing. We had the Meat Paella on our second visit and again we weren’t disappointed. Venue was very busy on both visits. There seemed to be a lot of locals at the venue on both visits. The staff didn’t rush you even when the place was full, and more customers still arriving. This restaurant is tucked away and easily missed with other adjacent restaurants with large frontages. It has thousands of pots hanging up around the building. The restaurant has been open for over 50 years. An absolute gem. Thanks

Do not eat here. We were very polite as always cause we respect restaurant businesses and the effort that goes into it all, a lot, but it was obvious from the get go that they do not like foreigners, that was the vibe of the whole experience. Asked for a recommendation for vegetarian main dish, they said asparagus from the appetizers like not even caring, I took some fried vegetables instead and was disappointed, as was my family with their fried cod without anything else and a ready made bolognese. There were flies _everywhere_ making it almost impossible to eat. Employee was almost anxiously waiting a table of tourists next to us to finish their meal, waiting right next to their table as they ate. I speak fluent Spanish and heard kids saying swear words about tourists at the counter. Finally, they charged for a super dry piece of of bread that was readily on the table, these would be free in any other restaurant. Not a great honeymoon experience but you know better now 😀 such a shame for that beautiful location!

Charming location that could be magical if the site was maintained better and cleaner. Regular plastic chairs with tables that you normally don’t find in other restaurants.

Average food with average prices and average service overall. We all ate and the person that had the easiest dish (spaghetti) got served last when everybody else had finished eating already.

Little hidden gem restaurant, great location hidden from the beach crowd with sea view and nice food. We will come back for sure
