Reviews
10/10. Would recommend.
I am not one to typically leave reviews, but felt inclined to leave a more recent review by someone who actually ate the food there.
Cheers!
My family was in from out of town and we wanted some great food and the space for big group . This amazing restaurant not only welcomed us last minute but made sure everyone was taken care of and felt welcomed .
Our food was delicious and freshly made , home made tortillas was a plus
We all ordered different food/plates and everyone’s reaction was satisfying and happy .
I hope if you haven’t took some time to visit this amazing place you do now and your welcome ahead of time
Over all my self and my family who do live near visit often because who doesn’t love great food and Service.
Once again thank you to all
The staff and please keep up the amazing apmophere you have creative.
The cabeza sope was satisfying. Crispy bottom combined with tender meat. The flautas were also good, crispy and packed with flavor. Fast, friendly service and a salsa bar. I think I’ll be back.
As a reply to the person who responded to my review:
I did not lie in my review. I did respond to your sister, however, I don’t speak loudly so perhaps she didn’t hear me, but to call me a liar is just wrong. Yes, your sign doesn’t say “one drop of salsa” and that comment was not meant meant to be literal, it is how the sign made me feel. Yes, the salsa bar was messy. I never said in my review that the chips were not enough for two people, I said the basket was half empty, which is true – again not a lie. Your choices are simplistic. I didn’t say you had no variety, I said simplistic. Everything comes with rice and beans and no options for veggies or salad instead like at many Mexican restaurants. Also, there was one choice or bean – refried – no option for black beans, so yes, simplistic even though you do have several choices. As for the kids eating, I have no issue that they were in the dining room eating, what I said was that it seemed odd that they looked to be eating food not from your establishment. You say they were eating a quesadilla, but it looked like they were eating something with a thick piece of meat in the middle inside a bun, which looked like a hamburger…not a quesadilla, but as I didn’t go over and look and didn’t ask them I can’t know for sure, but if it was a quesadilla it was the most stuffed one I have ever seen. Also, in your reply you stated that we arrived about 7pm. We actually were in your restaurant from 6:10pm – 6:24pm so perhaps your dinner rush is a very early one? Don’t call me a liar and don’t say that I am trying to ruin a small business, quite the contrary. At other Mexican restaurants we have gone to we have been able to substitute the rice and beans as I mentioned above, as my husband cannot have all those carbs, so I want other people to know what you serve so they don’t waste their time coming in if it is not what they are looking for. As to what you said you when we left, I will go with what you said as I was already mostly out the door as my husband, being a gentleman, always opens the door for me, so I do apologize for not hearing all that you said. And lastly, your comment as to what kind of a person I am was completely out of line. Moving forward, I wish you nothing but the best and much success in your restaurant now and in the future.
