every detail was an absolute delight.
My sincerest compliments to the chef for crafting such an exquisite menu, and to the entire team whose dedication elevated the experience even further.
Each dish felt like a celebration of flavor and artistry.
If I could, I would have gladly ordered the entire menu.
An unforgettable experience.
I’ll be back so soon to try more and more
Let’s start with the positives: The place is exceptionally well decorated. It’s a warm environment. The selection of fresh seafood on display is very enticing. The staff that welcomed me in were friendly and well organised. I ordered some clam croquettes, which were very flavoursome and fresh, and the wine was delicious.
Sadly: It went a little downhill from the main course onwards. Ordered the arroz en salsa verde with clams and prawns. This was a portion for two, coming in at €34. The stock was really good and full of flavour, but was exceptionally disappointed with the portion size. I was visiting with my mum, who doesn’t have a large appetite, but even with her having a small amount, I was bulking this out with bread and picos so it felt like I had eaten. I noticed a table of two with another rice dish nearby, and they had a substantial amount more than we had been served, so a bit confused to be honest. The dish could’ve benefitted from a few more prawns too, and for them to not be overcooked.
Overall, I’m agreeing with several other reviews here that comment on the small serving size of the rice dishes. I saw plenty of other tables ordering delicious-looking sizeable dishes and it seems a little odd that the rice dishes (rice being the cheapest ingredient to be frugal about) are on the smaller side.
To end: We were given dessert menus and after 15 mins of waiting, nobody came back to take the order. At that point, we just chased somebody down to request the bill and left.
I really wish this had been better.
I will recommend to try tuna taco and tartar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We did not enjoy the tuna tataki, as we feel the spices are better suited for meat rather than seafood.
The cost was outrageous given the poor quality and meager portions of the food. After sharing the same fish dish, two of us felt unwell later that evening, and the dish itself was far from impressive.
Service was equally lacking. Meals for our party of six were not served together, with one guest receiving his food at least 15 minutes after everyone else (we were not notified that this rather simple dish would take so long). It’s clear that what you’re paying for here is the view, not the cuisine or hospitality.
Of the six restaurants and bars we visited in Cádiz, this was by far the worst in terms of both food quality and value for money.
