Had a special that was not on the menu. Octopus and giant shrimp. It was the best octopus I have ever had! Great place I will go again and recommend to everyone. They have a variety of dishes including FRESH seafood.

My family and I stopped here when we were in La Fortuna and I’ve got to say, the food was DELICIOUS!!! Our favorite was the rice with seafood. It came with crab, calamari, shrimp and mussels. We all loved it. The arroz con Pollo was also a big hit. The chicken tenders were extremely tender and not salty at all. They were perfectly crispy and the best tenders I had. I only didn’t like the taste of the Rasta pasta but it could be just preference. The restaurant also had habañero hot sauce as well as Carolina Reaper hot sauce on the tables to add to the food. We loved the flavors so much and it was wonderfully spicy. Lastly, the Piña Colada and the Mojito both tasted great. We enjoyed the taste of both and it helps having the Colada in case you try the sauces. The environment had very unique and fun decorations so you will definitely enjoy the food and the ambiance. This restaurant was a wonderful stop for us and would highly recommend to anyone in the area of La Fortuna!!!

Where do all the 5 stars come from? Food is very ordinary and the price is way over everywhere else. The atmosphere is very ordinary. This place is really nothing special at all. We ordered two fish plates, 1 full fried snapper and 1 fillet of sea bass. Both dishes were very simple (cook prepared not chef prepared) and was over 80$…..wow. there’s way better elsewhere.

I went to this restaurant with my family. We arrived to eat and enjoy ourselves. My family and I ordered food; there were three of us, and we all ate at the restaurant. I had a chicken leg that I brought from another restaurant, and I asked if they could heat it in the microwave so I could eat it at the same time as the food we had ordered. They wouldn’t allow it. They kept giving me the runaround and said the restaurant was full of people, which was a lie. In the end, I ate the food from the restaurant, and they refused to heat up the chicken. It seems to me that kindness, courtesy, generosity, inconsideration, lack of hospitality, selfishness, and hostility abound at that restaurant. It was just a matter of heating up a piece of chicken, nothing more. We ate at the restaurant, we paid, and everything, and they refused to heat it up. In the end, we left with the cold chicken on our way back to the hotel. I WILL NEVER GO TO THAT RESTAURANT AGAIN. HOW EASY IT IS TO LOSE CUSTOMERS THESE DAYS.

We are from the Caribbean side of Costa Rica and stopped here thinking it would be Caribbean food from that side of the country. Instead it is Caribbean influenced food from around the world.
Despite this, they still have some typical dishes like rice and beans which my husband ordered. He said it had a great flavor and he would be happy to order it again.
I ordered the vegetarian rice which came with salad and french fries. Normally I am not a huge rice eater. Unfortunately they only had two vegetarian options (pasta or rice). I was however pleasantly surprised. The veggie mixed rice had wonderful flavor and I ate it all! I would order it again.
We also ordered guanabana (sour sop) smoothies, the fried rolled bananas with ice cream and the coconut flan. All were good, not spectacular but solid. No complaints.
The experience was topped off by great service by all of the staff. They have a good thing going and if you are in the area, definitely stop for a meal.

The staff was great. The chicken quesadilla was not good at all. It should be given a 1 bland and wet. My husband got the seafood with octopus 3 and the bottom was burned and chewy. The shrimp gets a 4. Beer gets a 5. Seafood soup gets a 4. Sorry for the mixed review but that was our experience. We did mention it to the waiter but we felt we should just pay for the meal and tip well, even with the experience.

Wonderful couples dinner in La Fortuna with a visual delight on the Seafood Platter for two special. Healthy portions of lobster, octopus, red snapper, mackerel, Mahi Mahi, and veggie accompaniments. The Blackened Tuna rare was tasty, as was the sangria. A great stop right on the main road in town.

Came here to try the red snapper and it lived up to the positive reviews! The fish was great – the fish had crispy skin and was well seasoned, and it came on a bed of vegetables and plantain which were delicious. It also came with 4 jumbo shrimp. The meal was enough for 2 to feel satisfied.
