Lasagna is the best I’ve ever had. Think they took the recipe from their other location Cien Fuego.
Risotto was a tad cooler than my wife likes but the flavor was there.
Pizza was amazing.
Old fashion made the classic way which I love.
It is not a crowded restaurant which is perfect for having a peaceful and quiet breakfast. We brought our puppies, it is pet friendly. We started with some fresh baked bread with a home made sauce and guayaba jam.
Edit January 2026: this restaurant has moved to the other side of town.
They sat by the bar (4-6 people) chatting and laughing throughout our meal, which felt super awkward.
The manager came to see us once on arrival but then didn’t seem to care about our experience or how awkward that felt to the diners.
There was such a lack of attention that in the end I picked up my packaged leftover food directly from the kitchen as we didn’t know if/ when we’d get any attention again from the staff.
The food was okay not brilliant- French onion soup was okay but not great and Mac and cheese was made with penne pasta which was a bit odd (also not super tasty).
This spot has lots of potential – Beautiful new location with gorgeous lodge style dining hall but staff training and ambience still need work.
We had a great rib eye and everything else was just so so (burrata and risotto)
