Service was not it. Person at the cash register saw us walk in but did not greet us nor told us where to sit. I say this because all restaurants are different. Waiter was nice when taking order but don’t expect any other interaction after getting food.
The food didn’t really have any flavor. Husband always finishes his food however not this time. Empanada de leche was ok but a bit too burnt. First time ever visiting this restaurant and don’t think I’d recommend the food.

I came to this place to get some lunch to go. The staff there were really nice, I got overcharged but they gave me my money back. The food was delicious and I enjoyed eating. I also bought some pupusas but I couldn’t finish it all.

Food: delicious!! Great vegetarian options
• fried sweet corn tamale: soo soo good. I want to try the non fried one next
•plantain plate, came with sliced fried plantain, sour cream, cheese and pureed refried beans. Delicious!
• bean and cheese pupusas very good, fresh and hot.
•Cheese and jalapeño pupusa: good but very spicy! I can handle spicy but this was a little too much. The pieces of jalapeños were too large for my personal preference. I only had one bite and gave to my husband.
drinks: yum!!
•Tamarindo very good and balanced
•hot chocolate yes this was a hit. It’s abuelitas hot chocolate so rich and not too sweet with hints of spices.

Service: great! Nothing took too long to come out, friendly staff.

Atmosphere: this is where the place is slightly lacking. Immediately walking in I was hit with an aroma that reminded me of my grandmothers house but not necessarily good just Kinda an old smell but nothing too overwhelming, just surprised I wasn’t sleeping yummy food smell
Also the place is FREEZING! My friend and I had to keep our coats on and definitely needed the hot chocolate.
Decor is typical, like the places I would go visit in sf and daly City, lack lustre but u don’t go for decor, u go for the yummy food !
Also bathroom just Kinda meh

Totally disappointed over my food quality my mom and I went to visit this restaurant. We order food to go and when we got home, Plátanos are too dark burn from the sides we also had a order of chicken tamales tamales were hard and dry , not worth the price total different than what the menu pictures shows I wish I can Load The pictures of my order.

The order was all confused and the pupusas were not that good. We are really disappointed with the food and service. Never the waitress ask if everything was ok I complained with the gentleman who was there and he apologized because he did acknowledge all the mistakes.

I did not have a good experience here. The food is 6/10. As a native Salvadorian, this place is not it. I got pupusas that had cheap clumpy cheese and just not good overall. The service was horrible. The waiter did not even greet us and just looked he hated his life the entire time he served us. We also waited 40 minutes for 4 pupusas. Not worth it and will not be going back.

My daughter recommended this place cause we were visiting. I was very happily surprised with how good this place is. I am very picky when it comes to my pupusas but this place is really a hidden gem. The rice was good too along with the platanos and beans. Yum!!! We will be back. Across from Todos Santos Park have to park in the Wells Fargo parking lot to see it. They also participate in the food truck day… thank you for the great food!

Really enjoyed their food and their service overall. Had to wait too long at first to get a waiter/waitress , so the owner came by to assist. Would be 5 stars if it weren’t for the initial wait. Nonetheless, the pupusas are BOMB and I will continue to come to this fine establishment.
