El Establo Steak House is hands down the best steakhouse in Occidente and San Ramón. The food quality is excellent, the parking is convenient, and the overall atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed dining experience.
During our visit, they initially brought us an Angus burger that wasn’t well done as requested, but their response was outstanding — they changed it immediately with zero hassle. That level of customer service really stands out.
The staff is attentive, professional, and genuinely cares about the dining experience. I absolutely love dining there with my wife, and it’s a place we always enjoy coming back to. Highly recommended.

My husband swears his burger at El Establo is one of the best he’s ever had. I had the chicken parm and it was amazing as well. Friendly service and casual, fun atmosphere. Glad we stopped by on our journey to Quepos from La Fortuna 🙂

We had the Chicken Parmigiano and Prime Rib. The food and service was very good, as usual. We have been there many times in the past. Location is just a few minutes of the Autopista, and has ample parking our front.

We were passing through San Ramón and stopped here to get dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful as we don’t speak much Spanish. We ordered the salmon and a hamburger. While I wouldn’t say the food was spectacular, it was hearty and much needed after a long day of driving.

The French fries were basically hyper greasy out of a package, the hamburger was also super greasy, terrible bread, the burger was disgusting, service was ok yet not attentive.
What can I say? Everytime I show up at this place the food quality is just worst.
