This is a restaurant located in a corner that, from the outside, lacks any appeal. However, the food and service are deeply rooted in the culture of Salvadoran and Central American heritage. During my visits, I have consistently found the service to be exceptional. I recommend the tamales.

Just finished eating here and I’m seriously impressed. The chuarrasco was absolutely delicious — perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of flavor. Every bite was worth it. The sides were great too, and everything tasted fresh and homemade.
The vibe is super welcoming, the service was on point, and I’m definitely recommending this place to friends. If you’re craving authentic Salvadoran food, this is the spot. Five stars without a doubt!

Found this spot off of a Salvadorian friends referral and fell in love with the pupusas. They are very fresh and come out steaming hot, love the flavor of the “revuelta” which is filled with meat, cheese & beans. The staff is very friendly and the spot is very clean inside. Nice ambiance full of Salvadoran culture would totally recommend

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!Went for breakfast with some friends and it was very disappointing. Tasteless food, was not even average (went there for the pupusas). Service has a hole lot of opportunities: waitress with attitude, you ask for something, she forgets, then brings you the check…a nightmare. To top it of 18% mandatory tip; no wonder. Also they charged 4% for using a card and on top a rounding adjustment??? What the heck?????

This Salvadorian restaurant was my favorite for the homemade feeling and taste of food, quality has gone down a lot over the last couple of years, there is a sign at the door advertising an opening for a cook and it shows they need it, the wait for the food was longer than usual and it was not that good,Tamal de elote is served with crema, I found this elote to be bigger than the usual they always served and it was not a good elote, to me it was a sweet version of Grits(see video), it’s supposed to be compact, I don’t like to use the word but it was gross, either to old and re-boiled in water or not cooked properly, did not eat it. Prices have been going up a little but portions are generous . The atmosphere was ok, loud TV playing music but it’s expected in a latin restaurant. It’s not what it used to be, if feeling adventurous go try it for yourself.

We have been customers since 2008. Here we have always felt as family, we have always been serviced with care and personalized attention. Food is delicious and feels like a little piece of El Salvador. Our server Gloria has earned the title of auntie and this restaurant is part of my kids childhood memories. Today, a new server… Gabriel took care of us, and I was so happy to see that even though its new generations the attention remains the same. He was so cordial and professional as well, and has a smile on his face all day! Thanks!

I literally waited 40 min for my food, which was 2 eggs sunny side up, 3 plantains, a small triangle cheese, refried beans, slice of steak, sour cream cafe and horchata, the popusa came out to the table faster. They need to work on their timing and I had to ask the waitress how much longer I had to wait, there were only 19 people there, thats including my wife and I, i was expecting a much better service, food was ok, but i ate to get out so i really didnt savor the food.

I came here for pupusas and they were delicious. We got some with cheese and others with beans and cheese. We also ordered a carne asada meal. That was also flavorful the obly negative was the maduros(platains)- they were tough to eat.
The only downside of this place is the restaurant itself. It looks really old and has this weird hospital smell to it. Some of the ceiling tiles have water damage which doesnt help their image.
