From the moment we walked in we felt at home- our waitress (Nelly)who just happened to be the owner welcomed us like we were regulars… Nelly also took the time to go slower with her Spanish-so we could try to understand & even spoke English with us!!
This was actually our 2nd time here & both visits were beyond amazing!!
1st meals- lobster(langusta)tacos & beef(carne) tacos. Every taco was stuffed full of meat & homemade sauces!!! So delicious!!
2nd meals- Sopa de mariscos (seafood bisque) & nachos de carne (beef nachos) The soup was by far the best that we have tried on our journey- full of shrimp, fish, & octopus with a just spicy enough tomato bisque. The nachos covered an entire plate & was drizzled with mole, beef, queso, and HOMEMADE sauces!!!

The best service and food! We are new to Mexico and still learning how far pesos vs usd goes and we were short in pesos. They we so nice and polite to give us a sample of the seafood empanadas too! Great food and the best service around!

If you want a home cooked meal and genuine service this is a great choice for a meal. The Red Snapper was the definition of fresh. The fish was probably swimming on the same day they fried him up. Señora Nelly thank you for your service and cannot wait too come back and visit. 🙂

We stopped for lunch after landing at the airport, on our way to Playa Del Carmen. The service is great and the food is amazing!! We had chicken and fish tacos and they were authentic and so tasty! The 2 sauces, one mild and one picante, are made on-site and are just delicious. The two ladies who served us were very friendly, attentive and made this a great experience We are glad we took the time to stop by and would highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was great , the service matched it. We just happen to come across it by getting lost on our way to visit the cenotes routes. So on our way back Husband was craving shrimp cocktail and I got aguachile and they where both absolutely delicious. The portions where a good size and the black refried beans they bring you with the homemade chips where really good too, I had to get more since they where very flavorful. We would definitely be coming back.

This is a secret spot in PM. Hidden on a quiet side street. Excellent atmosphere and the food is amazing. It’s homemade and delicious. Not fast food! Worth waiting for. We had the ceviche and it was the best we ever had. Nelly is super friendly and we learned a lot from her. Carmen is her daughter and is also super friendly. We waited years to go here and are so glad we finally made it! Definitely going back.
