You have to come and experience El Salvadorian cuisine at its finest! Wonderful staff. You’re treated like family. And the food comes in huge portions.

Went to try something new , so didn’t exactly know what I was ordering. Menu doesn’t explains much . The staff who attended me missed two items when the order came in , it’s understandable it was busy time, so double check when to get your to go . The soups are the highlight there , it’s so delicious that I will go back only for that . The grills were good , well marinated and correctly cooked . I desert orders I made was flop. So as the starters, not for me . The fruit Salad is just a sugar water with some cut fruits . It’s too much sugar for me . I will go back to try their other soups
The manager was kind enough to reply , I understand the fruit salad is a traditional drink, it would be nice if there is some sort of explanation on the menu . I will for sure go back when I am around , the Soup and grills are worth that .

Good as for soups and pupusas de best. Too long for food to arrive honestly, one food for our family member was brought first then the soups took more than one hour to arrive to the point that we didn’t want the soups anymore. In other places, everyone’s foods arrives at the same time. To go foods, never again will I do the camarones cocktail which costed $22 dollars for a very small portion. Other places give you what the price is. Still will go there for pupusas to dive out never eat in or ask for way too pricy cocktails.

It was an experience in how bad you can be served. The waitresses from the start ordering drinks was not being very friendly. Then it just went downhill from there. She would not explain the menu, we are not salvadoreños. So she left and took a long time to come back. Things just got worse, as drinks were coming in one by one, at random intervals. She never refilled the coffee or water, then the appetizer came at the end of the meal. In all the food was good and large portions, the ambience was good with music. But the service was horrible and you can tell by the looking at the other tables, the customers are looking all over for waiters to pick up the plates. The waitress did not pick up the plates until we asked for the check or a To-go box. Remember that the plates are huge and portions are very big. So you have a table that gets crowded with 2-3 plates. I don’t know if we’re at a bad time and everyone walked in after us. But for sure, other reviews mention bad service and long wait time.

Service was pretty much, the food was dashed off I ordered Yuca Frita. And some pupusas that causes me vomiting and stomach pain . Really expensive and the manager very rough.

Food is great, tastes home made. Best pupusas I have tasted so far. They didn’t taste like at other places where they add flour to keep pupusas from falling apart .. Service is a bit slow. It seems you just seat wherever you want. No hostess or signed posted to let you know to seat yourself.

I am sadly disappointed in this place. A few weeks ago I went to eat here and I found a hair in my food. I complained and did not have to pay for the meal. I came back today to order some food to go so I had a chance to take a quick pick at the kitchen and pointed out to the owner of the business that this place was better when the people in the kitchen used to wear hair nets and that to see them working in the kitchen with such carelessness today (no gloves or hair nets)it was disappointing. She pointed out that the kitchen workers refused to wear hear nets and that there is nothing she could do about it and that she wasn’t going to bother with it. I politely expressed my frustration. I ordered a breakfast to go and as I was eating it I found a piece of a toothpick (or peace of a wooden spoon) in the casamiento (rice & beans mix) as shown in the picture (case in point). This peace of wood has absolutely NO place in the casamiento for God’s sake! Having been a loyal client to this place for many years I can say it used to be the difference in the community as far as quality and service and now its just heart breaking a below average spot, poor at best. The quality of the food and service has dramatically declined to poor conditions.

Good food, good service, it reminded me of El Salvador, the first Latin restaurant that I feel at home is very nice, the next time I go to that area I will return..
