Fantastic service and amazing food! Despite the restaurant being crowded, the staff handled everything smoothly and arranged our table quickly. The food arrived in no time, and the ingredients were super fresh. The soup bases were rich and tasty — we loved both the tomato broth and the Tom Yum soup. Will definitely come back again!☺️☺️☺️

I rarely ever write negative reviews but this place was really disappointing. I did not try the hotpot but I ordered a few dishes to share.. Tomyam fried rice was lukewarm and felt like it came out of a food warmer.. tasted bland.. no tomyum taste and a little burnt.. it’s just rice with hardly any ingredients.. but rice portion was big for RM25. Other dishes like the hot plate tofu and eggplant was all well below average.. service was ok and place is clean enough.. but I really hope the owner tastes his own food and improve on it. I don’t think anyone should come and order the dishes here until the taste is improved.. and i don’t think fried rice that’s not cold can ever be accepted.. at least put it in the microwave?

Tried their steamboat during dinner time.. ordered herbal soup and it was good.. but the ingredients were not that fresh eg prawns and fishballs.. service also not that great as the steamboat was using charcoal and they didn’t really help us to check n replace..

Food was some what average. The sambal fried watercress and salted egg corn were good. Restaurant was rather empty during low season. We dined on a Sunday evening, there was no crowd.

Here for dinner after looking around for a good restaurant since the one we wanted to go to was closed (no reason at all despite google map says its opened ). We did not regret coming here as the 4 dishes we chose were nice. The pork rib king is yummy and tasty, juicy and thick the minced pork egg has al lot of pork wrapped in egg the claypot tofu is nice to warm the body with thick broth to add on to the veggie (green dragon) with bean sprouts is fresh and lightly cooked without much oil you can taste the freshness in the munches. Add a pot of hot tea and it’s great for a cool weather dinner. This place is in a busy location, finding parking is difficult even during off peak season. But keep trying there will be one. Nothing to say about the inside decor as whats important is the food. They do have hot pot as well but we didn’t try that. It’s quite well patronised at dinner time. A good place for dinner.

Had steamboat with a choice of charcoal or gas. For charcoal, can choose only one soup while with gas can choose two soups. Soup selection shall be herbal, tomyam, soup based. Prices from RM30/pax (3pax and above) or RM35/pax (2pax).

Highlight for the steamboat is the homemade chili sauce.

Arrived at the restaurant at 5+ in the evening before the dinner crowd marches in. Paid RM$90 for 3 persons charcoal steamboat set dinner. The assembly of the charcoal pot lengthy chimney looks somewhat fun.

We had the herbal soup base option and they were generous with the Chinese herbs in the soup. Steamboat ingredients are fresh and after devouring the initial set meal, they offer unlimited complimentary servings of vegetables, all grown on the Highlands.

Crowds started to pour in by 6.30pm (being a Friday today (28 Apr) and tables are quickly filled up.

It’s a family run business and the 2 helpers they’d engaged were spontaneous and attentive enough in coming to you and refill your soup base when they spotted your hot pot running low, without us asking.

Parking can be a challenge during peak hours, and one may have to park your vehicle slightly further, away before taking a leisure stroll to the restaurant.

Overall a nice experience. Will return again.

Friendly owner, gracious amount of food for 3 pax, unique soup taste (differs from KL) – ordered chicken soup with a hint of pepper, loved the chilli sauce. Note: If you opt for charcoal steamboat, you can only choose 1 soup base. Menu price is nett too

Out of five dishes, only the salted egg chicken, sweet sour meat and salted egg corn are satisfying. The claypot taufu and kangkong belacan need improvement.

A lot of flies here, very annoying and bad dining experience. The charcoal smell may make you feel uncomfortable too.
