This cozy spot has a charming, almost homey feel — though the interior can feel a bit tight at times, like dining in someone’s living room. The menu is impressively extensive, prices are reasonable, and while some dishes (like the Pad Thai or General Tao) lean a little heavy on the sauce, the flavors are still satisfying. The staff are genuinely friendly, and it’s clear many of the guests are loyal regulars.

This restaurant was not at all what I expected, you can almost miss that it’s there from the outside but once you enter it is very nicely decorated, the servers are kind and quick and the menu is authentic and with pictures which was very helpful since we didn’t know what most of the dishes were. The shareable meat platter (video) easily fed three of us and was fun to spin or warm up our food. The peanut-butter dumplings were small but packed quite a tasty punch.

The food was good, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was great however Thai food is not for me. I am more of a Chinese restaurant.

I tasted rot and realized that some dumplings were rotten inside. My husband also had some in his dish!! What a turn off and very insulting and disgusting. When something tastes off, we should always trust our judgment!! Never going back!

Quality-quantity-price isn’t worth it. Quite expensive for the quantity received. Average quality. Paid more than 100$ for 4 portions a soup and rouleaux, and because of the small portions no one got enough (4 adults).

I had a great time there. Nice small restaurant where the staff is friendly and offer a good service. There a lot of variety on the menu and the portions are generous!

Cute place. Great food and service. Plates start around 16$ and table d’hôte at 27$. Bring your own wine. I recommand.

Unlike authentic thai cuisine, the food at this restaurant wasn’t tasty at all, cauliflower was undercooked, pad thai was too salty, tom yam soup was a bit too sweet. Service was good though.

This place is unbelievable. My family have been there for dinner on a number of occasions since it is right next to our house. The first time we went, my scallops were basically raw but since the restaurant was fairly new, I figured I would give it a second chance. A few months later, my wife and I returned and I decided to try the same dish a second time since I love seafood especially scallops. This time the scallop was cooked. I say “scallop” in the singular because there was only one! They had cut it into 4 pieces to make the dish appear to have many. When I mentioned it to the owner she basically said nothing and didn’t seem to care. The final straw came last week when my extended family were in town for the holidays and asked where we could go to eat that was close. Since there aren’t many cultural food options in Lachenaie I offered to take them to Taasty Thai. Once again, the owner was completely rude when we asked for a table away from the door since my aging mother didn’t really appreciate being placed next to the door where there was a cold draft. This time we mentioned that this wasn’t acceptable especially since the resto was empty.
Again, the owner didn’t seem to care. Without any hesitation, we walked out and spent $250 in another restaurant that appreciated our business. When I asked for the table a bit further away, she simply refused by complaining that she didn’t want to have to put the tables together. Well you know what? I have given this place a fair chance at keeping me as a customer but since they are so out of touch with customer service, I simply cannot return.
