One of the best Chinese restaurants in Hamburg and the very best Sichuan restaurant. Wonderful people! Amazing food and a central location. There are two sections to the menu. The first is oriented more to a western pallet. And the second is authentic Sichuan food. Go with many people. Share the dishes and enjoy!

Delicious, authentic Chinese food and perfect for sharing! The spicy noodles, dumplings, and Kung Pao chicken were full of flavor, and the veggies were fresh and well-cooked. Great variety, generous portions, and everything tasted homemade. Would definitely come back!

They also offer options for people who don’t eat meat. Fried tofu is a must try . Fish with Sweet & sour was also delicious.

Owners are very friendly & accommodating. Love the ambiance.

Came for dinner with a group of friends.

We ordered the recommended dishes by the waitress, they were all so delicious. Dessert is also very tasty. I don’t remember the names but photos attached for reference.

Highly recommended and will definitely visit again.

In Summary I would like to concudle by saying that it is absolutely not worth even entering by mistake.
The food was subpar with enough oil that america almost invaded. We have earien twice cooked pork at other places but this one had three time more oil than all the others combined.
It was also borderline cold by the time it reached our table. The la zi ji was not bad hence the two stars.

The service was extremely poor. Rice was served complimentarily which was then charged, there was random drilling going on during our meal by the waiter himself and occasional burts of laser light. The chamomile tea which was 4.8 euro each was just a messner tea bag and it wasn’t even fresh.

The food was moderately high priced and for the price the quality was abysmal. I had diarrhea immediately and the bathrooms were downstairs with the windows open and it was 5° outside. I had to sit in the shivering wind while fighting the diarrhea of my life.

I pray no one comes here even if they’re lost.

Excellent Chinese dishes with a focus on Szechuan cuisine. There are “Germanized” “one-plate” dishes for those who do not want to share with their friends or who dine alone. Otherwise the dishes are very authentic and tasty. Apparently some people here in the reviews were turned off by “rude service”, however during our visit the staff was very friendly, professional and swift. One of the best choices in Hamburg. Will come again.

Update: Last time, I went alone and had pork ribs noodle soup, nothing fantastic but was Chinese enough to be not westernized Chinese food. Good amount of pork ribs , serving size was good. Asked for low salt and was still salty. Service was very good and they really tried to cater to my preferences, no chili at all.

Went again for dinner with a friend and got green beans and fish fillets and jasmine tea, was also good, green beans not so salty, not spicy and went well with the fish. They had jasmine tea which was good, but a MAJOR downside is they charged €3.50 PER PERSON WHICH IS A TOTAL RIP OFF!

Also they said all main dishes come with rice, we ordered 2 dishes and 2 people but had the same amount of rice (one small metal dish) as another person who ordered just one one main dish. We asked how many serves of rice ours was for and they said it was for both main dishes.

Right across the road from central train station near platform 14/Wandehalle and a bus stop, location is convenient but probably won’t be returning.

Great authentic Szechuan food. The people that run the place are very nice and the food is cooked with care. Not your average Chinese restaurant. Worth a visit. The Dan Dan Noodles were great, as well as the Kung Pao chicken and the fried frogs legs were delicious. The food is a bit spicy and not overly sweet. Thank you!

We were told we can pay with card so we decide to eat in here. The food was okay but I believe the price is a bit expensive. When we are about to pay the bill. They said they only accept Germany card instead of my Uk credit card. The bill was €60.90 and I asked if I could get €60 cos i didn’t want to get any spare change. The their attitude was pretty bad and even want to ask me pay €70 including tips. How could I pay any tips if their attitude is so bad?
Welcome to UK one day and you will find they will always have 10% discount if you pay by cash, because paying cash can avoid tax (this is what you do as well as I know any decent restaurant will accept visa/master card). I don’t expect a 10% discount from you, just a 0.9 euro off. If you cannot accept, it is fine but your attitude is terrible.
