Another great dining experience for us here! We really enjoy the experience. The staff were all warm, kind, friendly and professional. We chose to sit at the bar this time but the bartender who served us was on point. He made us tasty cocktails, food was served like clockwork and just how we asked for it.
We’ll definitely be back!

Thank you to the entire Restaurant Serenade staff for making our 1 year anniversary dinner a night we will always hold close to our hearts. Everyone at the restaurant was so welcoming and warm hearted, every bite of food took us on a beautiful journey. The food was inviting, fresh and one of a kind. A lot of preparation went on creating each dish and it shows tremendously. The drinks my husband and I ordered were fabulous and paired so well with the food. The restaurant vibes were amazing and my husband and I had our own corner table. Our experience was romantic, beautiful, unique and unforgettable. Also, the restaurant went above and beyond to celebrate us. We are so thankful for a wonderful night of celebration. I would recommend Restaurant Serenade to everyone, it is an experience everyone should have. Thank you

What an absolutely amazing experience at Serenade Restaurant in Chatham, NJ. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed and treated like regulars. The hospitality was truly exceptional.

Our server, Ethan, went above and beyond—his knowledge of the wine list, drinks, and the menu was impressive, and his service was warm, attentive, and effortless. Everything about the evening reflected stellar hospitality.

We usually dine out in NYC, but Serenade has officially earned a top spot on our list. Thank you, Ethan, for such outstanding service. We will absolutely be back with friends!

What an exceptional dining experience we had @ Serenade!
We hosted our daughter’s baby sprinkle there and could not have been more pleased! Aside from truly delicious FOOD, we were thrilled with the service & the staff! They were all so lovely and a pleasure to work from start to finish! And, the ambience made for such a warm and inviting experience. The pictures in all of the rooms were stunning! We are so appreciative to the folks who helped make our celebration so truly special & memorable!

One of our favorite restaurants! The food is always amazing. We have had Thanksgiving dinner here for the last 4 years , unfortunately, this year we were not able to get reservations and ate somewhere else .
I have posted pictures of last year’s Thanksgiving. I have to say that this is the best place to go hands down ! Especially after the disappointing Thanksgiving meal we had elsewhere.

A very purple, modern feeling French-inspired restaurant. Breads were good, cauliflower appetizer was a bit on the burnt side, but short rib tortellini was good. Pasta for the main (black linguine, blue crab, lobster tomato broth, had a few shell pieces in it) was ok. The brussell sprouts needed a bit of either salt or maple syrup, was mostly just grilled veggies without much taste. Overall, had better, but a good spot to try a few things.

Came here a while back for my birthday, just didn’t have a chance to post review here. The food was phenomenal, definitely on the expensive side, but the quality is great and the flavors are so rich. I loved the scallop- they’re big and juicy and so fresh. The lamb chops are also very tender and well seasoned. Loved the vibe and the service was fantastic. We came on a day when they didn’t do wine tasting. Would love to come back to do the wine pairing menu.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The food was mediocre and several ingredients did not taste fresh. The lobster bisque was very watery and lacked the rich flavor you would expect. The carrots in the entrée tasted old, and the fruit in the dessert was not fresh. The drinks were watered down, which was also a letdown. The carpet looked visibly dirty, and the service was not very welcoming. The restaurant could use a makeover, and tablecloths would give it a nicer, more polished feel. Overall, it was not worth your hard-earned money.

Update: We hadn’t been in a while, and unfortunately this visit didn’t live up to past experiences, which had been excellent.

Service was noticeably less attentive than before. There were four tables seated around 6:00pm, seemingly with one server, and we repeatedly had to ask for soda refills. The soda glasses were extremely small — with ice, only a few sips. Wine glasses were also left on the table fo those that didn’t get wine. The sommelier was helping with checking on table which I felt odd asking him for a piece of bread.

We started with the pumpkin soup, which was unremarkable and came out scalding hot. The steak was overly peppery, and dessert was a disappointment — the apple cobbler was fair at best. With six of us at the table, we also felt rushed; plates were being cleared while some of us were still eating dessert.

Additionally, the chairs could use refreshing. They were difficult to maneuver and detracted from the overall comfort of the dining experience.

At this price point, expectations are higher, especially considering how outstanding our last visit had been. We hope this was an off night, as we’ve had truly great meals here in the past.

An excellent dinning experience. Be sure to get a burger even while ordering off the price fix menu

On February 1st, I took two guests to Restaurant Serenade, expecting a fabulous experience. Unfortunately, the staff was muddled and confused. My wife’s Fillet Mignon was a piece of gristle. It was replaced with an acceptable cut of meat. My guest and I ordered the Pork chop, which was overcooked and tough. I’d been before to the restaurant and had a fantastic experience. I was embarrassed and disappointed. Considering the expense ($499.), I felt taken and won’t hesitate to share with friends and colleagues my poor experience.
