Had to wait about 5 minutes to get in, and even longer for the food after I ordered. I wanted to eat Japanese food while I am in Japan and this was the only option available in Disneysea. Pretty good grub but very pricey as expected of a theme park restaurant.

Made a reservation via Disney Resort app and it opens 5-10 mins before your schedule.
The main dish was good the cutlet, fish and tempura. Not a fan of the cold corn appetizer and the crab soup that got a ginger taste but it’s not too bad, just a preference.
The staff was very friendly and they refill your water even before you ask.
The price is as expected for the location. There weren’t many people when we visited, maybe it’s because Golden Week just ended.

The food was worth the wait!
Definitely try to book if you want to eat here especially during peak lunch time hours. We didn’t do that so we waited in line for about an hour, but the flavour of the food definitely made up for it.
Special mentions to Fukuda-san for making us feel extra special. She really went above and beyond for us and truly made it an unforgettable experience.

The restaurant is pretty cute with a short queue in rainy day. I have ordered the special 40th anniversary menu with a high expectation. The special drink is great and refresh with sour and sweet taste. The main rice with tempura is pretty good with crispy and unique sauce. Ths soup is also okay, it can clear your mouth after meal as well. However, I’m totally disappointed with the side dish, potato and fish. It’s still fishy and stinky. It has ruined everything. After finished it, my enjoyful feeling is gone.

There are a lot of wait time for this place, so I understand why there are some bad reviews regarding the queues. But we had a pleasant experience, since we made reservation via the app. We ordered their 40th anniversary set menu and the tempura set. The price is quite high but I’ve had worst food for higher price. The tempura set is very good, each pieces was fried very nicely. The special set was actually just average, it is more of a fun tasting gimmick to me and the overall taste and quantity was not that worth. However the entree that came with was a nice touch. Staff here was nice, so if you do get a table here, I highly recommend the tempura set and not get the special.

My friends and I really enjoyed the meal we had here. The menu itself is quite small with only sets to choose from but everything in the set was delicious and well made. The Sakura drink was also tasty and very light in flavor. Overall, our experience was excellent.

The restaurant is huge on the inside. You can get reservations or you can wait in line. It was about a 30-40 min wait for us. I’m vegetarian so I had to ask them if they had anything for me since nothing on their menu was. They were very accommodating and said they can make a tempura set with rice for me. They also clarified and confirmed what ingredients I can or cannot have. The server was very sweet and willing to help. The food came out pretty quickly as well and was delicious. Portions were small though for the price.
