Hungry for food lobster and want to get your fix? This is the place! #1 or #2 they both are great! Almost like family! Service is great! Full of locals and travelers, so you know it is the right place! The Mango Margherita was on point! There is no complaining about anything at this place! Even the price was right!

Came down with the family to try the lobster. This is my parent’s favorite spot for lobster. I just love the tortillas , rice and beans. It’s always been my favorite as a kid. Lobsters were good, it was a busy day so be mindful of wait times when arriving. Also be ready to pay for parking anywhere you go if you don’t find parking in front of the restaurant.

All the times I have gone to Puerto Neuvo I have always wanted to go to this restaurant but never wanted to wait in lune for an hour just to get a lobster, this time there was no line as we goyt there early and it was not what we expected, it is actually really less than average food!!! It is the worst restaurant we have eaten there, and we have ate at about 10 different restaurants there!!!! We also bought a shrimp plate for 20 dollars and only got 8 shrimp, on Sunday we went and got 40 shrimp same size for 10 dollars. So the restaurant is also way over priced, we will never eat there again unless it is the only place open and we are starving!!!!

Still as amazing as ever. I have been a big fan of this place for over 20 years. I would definitely recommend this place to any first time visitors. Get here early because this place fills up quick. The waiters are friendly and speak English. Not sure what to order? Just ask the waiter about the famous lobster. I recommend getting here a half hour before it opens just so you can get front row parking and first in line service. Thank you everyone for reading my review. Please follow me on google maps and check out the places I visit.

The first time I went here was in the 80s. The last time I had been was in 2003. Reset. I went today. And, it was pure nostalgia, exactly as amazing and savory as I remember. They say smell is the sense closest tied to memory — and yes, a large portion of what you “taste” is actually smell. I’ve been craving this place for a long(ostino) time and finally made it back.

So first of all — go here. Don’t go to the others. This is the original. We were really lucky, going on a Friday for lunch, before the huge rush on a long Holiday weekend (Labor Day). We literally sat right down.

We ordered quickly, one lobster special each in our party, and a sangria (soda). Was a bit surprised to see they moved from Señorial to Peñafiel — but, I never had this brand, and I think I might like it better.

The chips and pico are amazing while you wait. But then…

The main event. AMAZING Baja style spiny lobster. The best of the best. So succulent and delicious. Paired with all the complements you may want, though I personally like it plain while hot, ripping off some bites of bean covered, hot fresh hand made flour tortillas. I’m pretty sure this is heaven.

I’m shocked to have read some reviews not as gushing as my own. I’ve been here probably 10 times in my life and it’s been consistent and honestly amazingly priced for what you get. I have never strayed from lobster here. Why would you? While I’m sure some will disagree, I find Baja lobster to be so much better than Maine. And the sides here are to die for.

Came in about $40 per person. In Cancun, Caribbean lobster is gonna run you at least $20 more for a lot less overall.

One of the funnest (yeah, it’s a word) things is this time I had a camera. So here you go!!!

Enjoy this amazing spot.

The mango margarita is probably the best I’ve ever had. It was so fresh and yummy. The lobster was fire! I got the medium special which was basically the tail cut in half. It was enough for me.

Absolutely the best tasting lobster for the best price in Puerto Nuevo Village. Pass the rest this place is worth it. Just make sure you do not get the small lobster tails also in my picture you’ll be disappointed although they give you the Dozen for two people. You’re better off buying the large Lobster with much better flavor. The tortillas are excellent homemade.

I truly believe Port Nueva restaurant number one is the original, I’ve been coming here since the ’70s . The most basic of atmosphere, things get lively if someone pays for a mariachi van to play music.

Puerto Nuevo is known for the Lobster Dinner; we were not disappointed. We had a huge, delicious lunch at Olas del Mar Restaurant. The whole meal, starting with Tortilla Soup, Fresh medium lobster (2), Delicious beans and Mexican Rice, plus home-made flour tortillas. Also included a Margarita for $18.00 dollars. We loved it. Recommend it highly.
