Steakhouse Liefhebbers van een goed stuk vlees weten intussen maar al te goed dat ze in Piétrain nooit ontgoocheld worden. Engelse zesrib, picanha, steak tartaar van paardenvlees, lamsvlees met mosterdsaus, beuling en mergpijp smaken nergens beter dan hier. Noteer ook de uitgebreide gin- en whiskykaart en vooral het gamma bieren (ruim vijftig): die vormen een attractie op zich. In Piétrain word je elke dag culinair in de watten gelegd en dat tegen een eerlijke prijs.

Pietrain is tucked away in Antwerp’s old meat district, an area that’s buzzing with new energy. The restaurant stays true to its roots, serving steaks in all kinds of tempting variations. My entrecôte was full of flavour, and the croquettes we had to start were simply delicious. Add a good glass of wine, and the evening can’t really go wrong. The service was warm, personal, and professional — a perfect match to the food. Definitely a place worth recommending.

We had the “Argentijnse zesrib” which was very tender and juicy. The portion of fries is also very generous. We also appreciated that we could order a smaller dessert of just one scoop of ice cream, since we were so full from the main course. 10/10 would recommend!

Simply the best steak I have had. Charcoal flavour tender and deliciousness goodness. Must try if you are in Antwerp. The owner is amazing and service is awesome. Sides were also delicious. Hidden Gem!!!!

Came here for my birthday after finding this place on Google maps. The location is not close to the city center but it’s well worth the walk/tram if you’re visiting.
We ordered the Picanha and it was cooked perfectly. There was so much meat we ended up taking ⅓ of it home! Service from the two gentlemen was great too and they were very busy on their feet all evening making sure customers’ needs were met.
I really enjoyed this steak experience! Booking through their website was easy as well. Recommend stopping by if you’re in Antwerp.

Excellent meat, had the ‘koningsballen’, sweetbread, black pudding for starters and for mains the horse steak, horse tartare with truffle, veal liver and ‘grasbuikje’. All accompanied with a nice Cantillon gueuze. Owner is very nice and friendly. Will visit this restaurant again!

Truly not a single thing to criticize… extremely friendly staff, quick service, and amazing food. Rather limited amount of seating, so best to place a reservation because it gets quite busy! If you’re in the mood for amazing meats, you must visit Piétrain.
It is a bit expensive, but absolutely worth the price.
