First the waitress/ Hostess!
She was Soft spoken and friendly.
Now the food!
The Beef with rice and salad is worth a 5 star.
The Pork with rice noodles and salad is worth a 5 star.
The Beef soup all dressed was a 4 star.
Reason was? The rare Beef was fully cooked by the time it reached me. Rice noodles was not enough. All and all! Flavor of broth was 1.5% off of the flavor.
Pluse I asked for some chillies peppers and were still a little frozen.
Last bit for the Hospitality person.
Never sweep carpet around people. The just creates a lot of dust.
Second if you have a back door.
Delivery should go there instead of the front door.
Yes for a new business that’s bin in operation for 9 months is still learning.
Plus for the hostess/ waitress.
I will be back on your recommendation.
That you and see you again.
Really hits the spot if you’re craving some Vietnamese noodles. Highly recommended.
That said, it’s a little bit overpriced for the portion size compared to other pho spots around Montreal. The staff were friendly and welcoming, though still a bit inexperienced — for example, our soup arrived a few minutes before the bean sprouts, so we had to wait before digging in.
The atmosphere is clean, new, and modern, giving off a cozy neighborhood vibe. It’s is pretty cold there, we couldn’t take our coat off.
Overall, I’d recommend Pholicieux if you’re in the area and craving pho nearby. It’s a pleasant spot with good food, though maybe not worth going out of your way for.
If you’re searching for genuine Vietnamese cuisine in the West Island of Montreal, this is a spot you shouldn’t miss. Highly recommend checking it out— will definitely go back again when I crave for some Vietnamese treats!
