Wish we had discovered this restaurant many years ago. Excellent service, quality and choice especially for French Food Fans like me.

I can’t believe this place isn’t packed with people! Just outside the tourist zone Orphee is a treat for the senses. This quaint restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere in a quiet district with exceptional food. Even better it is set up somewhat family style with share plates. A fusion of fresh ingredients with some Japanese flavors and French tradition. And the wine choice is perfect. It’s a must do in Paris!
Our server was an absolute joy and we let him choose all our dishes and he didn’t disappoint. Don’t miss this treat !

An authentic French brasserie located in the heart of Regensburg is kinda surprising but a welcome one. The food here is solid and classics like escargots, beef bourguignon and bouillabaisse are well executed and the you setting is also warm and comfortable. Prices are certainly on the higher end for the quality but it’s not bad for a once in a while visit

Délicieux ! Merci !
We spent a wonderful evening. We felt like in a Bistrot in Paris – except for the language, though
The waitress was very friendly, helpful, and attentive.
We had Coq au vin, boeuf Bourguignon, and a tasty, juicy entrecôte – 3 classiques de la cuisine française – all 3 dishes were delicious!
Unfortunately, you don’t often get coq au vin and bœuf bourguignon this good anymore even in France…
The wine selection is good too.

The best food I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Starter, main and dessert, absolutely exquisite. Will be back

This a beautiful place, well set-up like a Parisian café. You can even seat outside and people watch like the French do. Food is good. I tried the crepe and desert. The service is just ok, but when you call yourself a French restaurant, and look upscale, people will expect more. It could be because I screamed tourist, and they know I would likely not be back, but hey, here I am writing a review. Some don’t get we live in different times.

My favourite restaurant in Regensburg. Really nice decor, cosy, everybody nice and friendly. You can feel like you are at home. You can stay here hours, enjoy the food, drinks and the atmosphere, nobody rushing you to leave. I almost tried everything on the menu… For breakfast i recommend the deluxe, marseille and italian breakfast or pancakes. Really delicious and tasty. In the evening or night this is the perfect place to drink or meet with people. I recommend to check out the winecard. You must try: pate de campagne, deux-fois-mousse, tartare d’Orphée, steak, entrecote mit sauce Béarnaise, and fromage de Brebis Corse… And dont forget to make reservation or you can just go and wait for a table, its worth it 😉

Excellent, we tried the onion soup, the cheeses, the vegetarian and beef options. The food is (a bit) pricier but totally worth it and the service was very nice also.
What makes this places special is the atmosphere, it feels just like a bistro in France.
100% recommended!

As a Frenchwoman who grew up in Paris, I was delighted to find this little piece of France in the lovely city of Regensburg. The atmosphere truly feels like Paris in the 1940s/50s. They even have French newspapers (such as Le Canard Enchaîné), and both the coffee and croissants are really good. It’s the perfect spot for breakfast, and I can’t wait to come back to Regensburg to try their lunch formula !

Food taste not too bad. It can be better with these price range. Wine taste good but wine glass is not suitable.
