The place is very nice, I like the concept and the fact that you can have a nice meal and be able to have a conversation at the same time.
Also I found pretty cool that they have Listerine in the restroom
Food & Drinks:
* We ordered more but I forgot to take a picture
I’m just gonna talk about what meals I was a bit disappointed:
* I’m a crème brulé lover and i didn’t like this one, has an alcohol taste and something was off about the taste.
* I had the bloody and was missing Clamato and the taste of lemon. I wouldn’t order it again.
Service:
Was very good, our waitress was very nice and everyone that was working there had a very nice attitude.
In general we really like it! For sure we would go back.
Everything went super well, food was delicious, service was very good and the restaurant itself is really nice and cozy. They were able to cater to all guests needs. We had the whole resto to ourselves as well which was a plus. I would definitely recommend!
We were at Madiva yesterday for my niece’s baptism, a family gathering of about 40–50 people, and we spent the entire afternoon there. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed—by everyone. The owner, the waitstaff, and the bar staff all made us feel that our presence and our business were truly appreciated. That kind of sincere hospitality feels increasingly rare in restaurants today, and it stood out immediately.
The service was impeccable: attentive, warm, and extremely accommodating, especially considering the size of our group. Everything flowed seamlessly, without ever feeling rushed or disorganized.
The food was outstanding—delicious, well prepared, and abundant. As someone who is vegan, I was particularly impressed. Instead of feeling like a complication for the kitchen, I was met with openness and care. There was a real conversation about what I could eat, and it was handled so naturally and professionally that it felt completely normal. I was served a generous vegetable platter, followed by a cauliflower-crust pizza with a simple sauce and fresh vegetables—absolutely delicious.
Beyond the food and service, the overall experience was flawless. The restaurant is well located, just off the highway, in a clean and well-maintained area. The space is ideal for large groups, very clean, beautifully decorated, and clearly well cared for.
I genuinely have nothing negative to say. This was a wonderful afternoon from beginning to end. I had never heard of Madiva before, and I honestly think they would do very well advertising in Montreal.
Thank you, Madiva, for such a lovely, memorable afternoon. We’ll absolutely be back.
The service wasn’t anything special. Just kind of the bare minimum. No complaints, at all. But don’t expect “above and beyond”.
Now for the food. It was fair, at best. I had the Madiva pizza. The toppings (mozzarella, arugula, shrimp) were delicious. But the dough could use improving. The inner half was drenched in oil and the outer half of the bread was dry. I normally enjoy pizza crust, but this one was hard and crunchy. I probably wouldn’t have another pizza.
Had the churros for dessert. Still a little on the hard and crunchy side, but more enjoyable with the accompanied chocolate dip and whipped cream.
The rest of the party had much better dishes, so I’ll probably be back to try something else.
