Get one of the best meals in Paris, and stay for dessert. I had to amend this review after the dessert. Do not leave this place without having dessert.
For lunch we had the French Onion soup, which will set a new bar of flavor. If you think you like French onion soup, you are going to love it after having this one. We also had the pork filet with honey mustard sauce. I took one bite and had to stop. It seriously could not get better, but it did. There were cherries in the wine honey mustard sauce that took the flavor to mindblowing. To say it was delicious is an understatement.
Now dessert. The Apple Tartar was pureyed delight. Full bodied subtle apple flavor. No guesses to the ingredients that distract from enjoyment like with some apple pies.
I know what people are going to think about the other dessert, French Toast. “Oh, that’s funny French Toast in France”. Nay, I say. It was pure brilliance. I asked what they suggested and the waitress said her favorite is the French Toast. I have retired from making French toast for my children. I will never be able to duplicate the structure, the delicate flavor of that French Toast. I may have cried a little. The kids did when I shared it. They knew breakfast would never be the same.
5 stars is not enough. Make your trip to Paris memorable, stop at the corner and take in a meal of a lifetime.
The waitress and shop owner were very kind listening to our broken French. They worked in a few English phrases to help us too.

We stumbled on this place after leaving Notre Dame. Our waitress was very kind and knew quite a bit of English. She was sure to check on us to ensure the food was cooked to perfection. The food was tasty as well. We both got steak meals. I was in love with the roasted vegetables. They were so fresh and cooked well! We would go back if in the area.

the food wasnt spectacularly wow but it was still delicious, just nothing special. i ordered the sausage (you only get one, and it’s not that big) and had the lentils replaced with mashed potatoes which was quite good, and the mustard sauce on the side added a nice touch to it. my friend got the chicken burger, and the fries were the star of the dish, the burger wasnt bad for the price of it. the service was nice, no complaints. it’s in a nice and convenient area, very nice spot for a quick lunch.

Great food! We started out with the escargot. It was my first time having it, and it was quite delicious! The wife got the beef tar-tar and I got the filet mignon pork and it was fantastic. (Note not a professional food critic but in my opinion, it was a great representation of French cuisine). Also the white wine was a great pairing. To the staff thank you for having us! Also a quick walk to Notre-Dame!

Great experience walking distance from Notre-Dame. This was a perfect stop on a rainy Paris afternoon. The onion soup was fantastic…not cheesy and bready like usual but piping hot with a rich broth. The chicken Caesar salad was excellent. Huge serving. Of course served with delicious bread. Great spot!

We went by this location as we were walking back towards our hotel. The customers plates looked really good, so we stopped. My 11 year old had the burger (beourgin?) and I had the chicken satay. The burger was very good, the chicken satay was absolutely delicious! The flavors were harmonious and perfect. The service was great. They were friendly and patient with my lack of French.
