Our dinner at L’auberge Gourmande was the highlight of our trip to St Martin. I can’t remember ever eating a meal as enjoyable as this one was. The atmosphere made me feel like I was in rural France. Being greeted by Chantal was like meeting an old friend, you feel at home. The staff was so wonderful also. 10/10 recommend this wonderful place. You won’t regret it.

We got the Cachat pinot noir Bouteille, French onions Soup, Raviolis Foie gras, Wellington Duck and orange roughy (fish). The raviolis and the Wellington duck were spectacular, and the raviolis are one of the best things that we’ve ever eaten, the Wellington duck with the mashed potatoes and sauce on the side were an absolutely heavenly bite for me, one of the best bites I’ve ever eaten. French onion soup was also delicious, the fish special, however, completely unimpressive and would recommend the duck instead. Reservations are highly recommended, we had to call several times and the waitlist appeared to be full, even after a reservation we did have to wait a few minutes. Everything in this restaurant was carefully curated, from several different servers approaching us, all for different tasks, i.e. one server for wines, another server for food, another server for a check. They also have wall art that you can purchase from a renowned artist Sir Roland Richardson, and you can enjoy your food on crafted French plates.

Wow! Quiet romantic spot. Everything was phenomenal. We had apps to main course. Way too full for dessert. I had the special and my wife and friend got the duck wellington. We got there early and glad we did as while we were there they ran out of muscles and the duck. They have two seatings so if you dont get there early go for the 8 P.M. seating. They did give us a nice shot of what must have been some homemade banana rum.

We celebrated a birthday dinner at L’Auberge Gourmande and were blown away by both the food and the service. The team offered complimentary cocktails while we waited for our table, which was a thoughtful touch. The foie gras and other appetizers were outstanding, dishes were perfectly timed, and even our leftovers were packed and kept refrigerated until we left. As someone who has worked on customer service processes for decades, I was impressed by how flawlessly this boutique restaurant executed every detail. Highly recommended for a special evening in St. Martin.

What a fantastic meal! The service was outstanding, friendly and attentive. Chantal was wonderful from the time I made the reservation to the last bite of the meal. Our wait staff knew the menu and the flavours as they described each dish perfectly. Would highly recommend this restaurant for authentic French cuisine
I suggest taking a taxi to the restaurant as parking is limited.

This might be the best restaurant on the island!!! Everything is top notch delicious, better than a lot of Michelin rated spots in Canada. This is definitely Michelin level Chicago (if you know, it’s one of the top culinary cities in America).

We were at L’Auberge Gourmande Saint Martin to celebrate Christmas Eve, it wasn’t our first time, but we want to come back again and again. This restaurant has such a cozy and charming atmosphere! From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home. Food was super delicious! The staff here are fun and extraordinary, it’s impossible not to fall in love with them. Thank you Chantal for making this possible for us since we came to book very late!
We recommend this restaurant to everyone who loves themselves, likes to eat quality and tasty food and enjoy the time spent. Ten stars!!!

Fantastic restaurant that transports you to France. Attention to detail in the food and aesthetic, down to the linens and the chargers. The sole meunière is heavenly, as is the mushroom soup. The staff is attentive, but not invasive. Just a perfect place for a beautiful meal.

Made a reservation months ago for my vacation. It was confirmed, but then lost in a technical glitch. Chantal invited me back in an hour and everything turned out very nice. Food and service was great. She is a wonderful woman who loves the people who make her business successful! There are many excellent French restaurants in Grand Case, but the hype around this one is real. You will feel like a friend. See you next year, Chantal!
