Opens at lunchtime and is recommended to have a reservation even though it is a very large restaurant. It is the only restaurant opened at noon. The brunch food we tried is fresh and tasty. The foie gras was delicious and so was the omelette, the sausages or the cheese platter. The onion soup was the only thing I didn’t like.

The place is very near to Mont Saint Michel.
The waiters are very nice and take a lot of effort to make you feel – as a customer – comfortable.
The dishes are very fresh and tasty.
They were served very fast.
The prices are worth it, especially for that location.

Hidden gem in this area! If you’re here, remember to have your reservation (English okay). Service is efficient and the main plat is good enough for the tourist hot spot. Also, it’s kids and pets friendly. Must have: mussels and chips/kid’s menus. One extra star for our waiters two straight nights! They are super friendly and with sense of humour:)

Good value. The restaurants in Mont St Michel are very overpriced and overcrowded, we suggest dining here before you walk to the mountain.
The food quality is ok. Food was served very quickly, guess it was prepared in advance as we saw that this restaurant mostly serve large group of tours; the slight problem was the food wasn’t hot enough (though they did have a microwave nearby, so you could help yourself haha).

We ate here several times during our camp stay because it was just so good and the service was excellent. The employees were all so great and kind to us. I also loved that they had so many dairy-free options.

There are two restaurants in the village, so there is not much choice. We were in the mood for mussels and fries, so we went to La Salicorne. This was a big mistake, the mussels were overcooked and comparable to the sole of a shoe. There were also a lot of broken and empty mussels. The fries were cold, limp and very small which didn’t make the mussels and fries any better. There was no sauce with the mussels and because the mussels had 4 kilos of salt on them, the drinks were your only salvation. There was nothing wrong with the drinks, we only had to order everything twice, because the waiter kept forgetting. The teriyaki chicken had hair on the chicken legs and was very tasteless. The couscous mash that came with it was really
sticky, tasteless and cork dry which made
It impossible to push through your throat. After the disappointment we immediately paid and had a dessert across the street. 100x better with good service, I can’t say anything about the main course, but that restaurant does everything much better. We sat in the bar and waiter Ramon was extremely friendly and quick with our order. In short, La Salicorne is a big tourist trap and certainly not worth your money and your taste buds.

There are only two restaurants in the closed off tourist area here and they are definitely abusing this. First of all there was no AC, so we were soaking in sweat after just minutes, the outside with 41 °C in the shadow was much more comfortable. But there are also like 4 or 5 menu items and they still manage to fail miserably. The ~18 EUR burger was at least 5 minutes past well done. An unedible dried out cracker, the toppings had no theme, overall it tasted worse than a 2 EUR bus stop kiosk cheeseburger that’s been sitting on a shelf for a whole day. One of the worst burgers I’ve had. The fish and clams are a safer bet, at least they seem fresh even if the fish has no taste to it. But you’re actually better off going into the tourist trap restaurants inside Mont Saint Michel itself, the food is much better and somehow cheaper. Also the service is terrible, good luck getting served while having a heat stroke.

Decent restaurant with friendly service. The food was fine. I would highly recommend that you make a reservation. The hotel we stayed at across the street (Mercure) made us a reservation when we arrived. We had the first reservation of the evening and it was practically empty. Some other people who did not have a reservation were not able to be seated. Shortly thereafter, two large buses of students showed up and had filled the restaurant.

Great restaurant with healthy, locally sourced food. Service was excellent for my family and me. The staff did not hesitate to seat our party of nine, and our food was provided quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend a lunch reservation here before visiting Mont Saint Michele. The food portions are very generous and selections are delicious!

One star because the beer was the only saving grace. Menu looked good, location seemed okay, but that is where it ends. Arrived 6:30 at opening, ordered, served and out the door by 7:20. Server was nice, quick and pleasant. Those are the positives and the highlights. Ordered the beef with chimichurry and fries as pictured below. Thankfully the salt on the table is free, because the bland fries and flavorless steak needed all the help they could get. I have seen people ruin a piece of meat, but this is next level terrible. So sorry we wasted our time and money here, there has to be better places!
-and the other review of the flies is spot on, they help to clean the plates even while you are still eating! My advice, go somewhere else!
