This. place. A couple buddies & I came for lunch. We got the French onion soup, foie gras, scallop tartare, the 1kg steak, mi cuit, and pistachio crème brûlée. Recommend all the above. Baked potatoes side dish was insane. Would come back in a heartbeat. Service was excellent and attentive. No pics because I was too busy enjoying the food to remember my camera.

Excellent cooking in this small restaurant – my fillet steak was as good as any I’ve ever eaten (and the accompanying Myrtle sauce was a revelation) and my partner was also impressed by her chicken leg in a mushroom and Jura yellow wine sauce. And an excellent Myrtle tart to follow. This plus a glass of very good Gewürztraminer and a large beer produced a bill of just £87.50. It’s a long time since I’ve paid so little for such a good meal. Lovely staff too. Highly recommended.
