We’ve been looking for pizza places nearby for a while now. We’ve even resorted to ordering from dieci pizza, given the poor quality of most options around.
Tonight, we finally gave Il Siciliano a try.
The reason we gave them a try is, to be honest, the authentic Italianness portrayed by an angry owner responding to Google reviews insulting their food. I’m not typically one for drama, but i recommend reading all the exchanges.
It’s important to say that we ordered via uber eats. The quality we received is certainly not the same would receive in the restaurant itself.
We had the aranchini, a pizza and some fries.
Great portion sizes, great value for money
The Pizza isn’t anything too visually impressive, but the ingredients are clearly selected with care and love. it’s topped with the kind of tomato sauce you could put on anything with carbs.
The aranchini were great in taste, but they had sadly suffered a bit during the delivery window, so they were no longer very crunchy.
That didn’t stop the from receiving the seal of approval from our kids, who are somewhat picky with new foods.
Overall, this is leagues beyond any of the pizza/kebab/hamburger shops popping up everywhere these days. We’re happy to have tried it, and we’ll be stopping by in person soon to see what it’s like completely fresh.

Had dinner with my boyfriend here. We both had an appetiser each and main course. Our Food was very good, tasted fresh and was nicely presented. The server was also very lovely. Would recommend to anyone in Baden:)

Wir waren ende Dezember dort.. es war alles super.. von der Bedienung bis zum Essen (sehr lecker) .. freundlich, aufgestellt und sehr unkompliziert ( wir Frauen beim Essen bestellen… manche verstehen sicher, was ich meine ) Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und kommen gerne wieder.
