A beautifully styled restaurant with a gorgeous view over pre-Inca pyramid ruins in Lima, the staff were all super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. My husband and I were on a group tour and a number of us included this restaurant on our book, we are so glad we did.
The ceviche, beef and sea bass were all wonderfully prepared / cooked, with great flavour and the portions were plentiful. Pico Sours helped everything go down even better! The cheesecake and meringue for dessert were also pretty good.
If we were to return to Lima we will definitely book in again!

Pricey but WORTH IT! If you’re passing through Lima and looking for something nice but not Michelin nice, this is the spot
I actually really love this restaurant. The food is fresh and made with care, and they have interesting elevated twists on classic Peruvian dishes. Even the anticuchos feel excellently done.
The service is usually excellent, and the view is hard to beat. Plus the manager, Bryan Candiotti, is truly excellent. Highly recommend!

Not sure what all the excitement is surrounding this restaurant. While it is beautiful and in an incredible, historically significant location, it fails to live up to the visuals.
Food was decent at best, lacked flavor, and looked much better than it tasted.
Service was acceptable, not exceptional which one would expect for the price point.
Would not return. This is a tourist trap.

Huaca Pucllana is tucked inside old ruins, and it feels like stepping into a secret garden. The traditional dishes are reimagined with exotic twists keeping the authentic peruvian spices.
The view was absolutely breathtaking; you can see the whole ruins from the crumbling arches. Service is a mixed bag: some waiters are attentive and friendly, while others seem a bit lost and cold. Knowing that this place is quite touristic and could be some of the guests’ first visit in the country, I would encourage a bit more warmth. The only other ick was the music choice of American music. In this kind of scenery, a traditional music would totally sooth the ambiance.
Overall, a unique spot worth the visit and definitely will visit soon again! 5 stars!

We went here after our tour of the excavation site and it was worth it! I highly recommend getting a reservation especially if you want a seat overlooking the excavation site without view of others. Staff was fantastic, people were great and food was spectacular. They do speak English and have English menus if you don’t speak Spanish.

Pricey, but good ambience and the food is decent. There is a large outdoor (covered) section so the noise level is low despite the place being about 80% full at round 2:30PM.
Our local tour booked this place, situated right next to the archeological site (admission to the site not included). Although both dishes are good, I would highly recommend the duck one on the left.

After an evening tour of the Pucllana archaeological site, we wanted to have dinner overlooking the ruins. Everything we tried was delicious, and the view made the night feel both romantic and magical. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the experience. We especially enjoyed the cheesy scallops, the crunchy-yet-sweet shrimp, and the perfectly cooked beef tenderloin with scalloped potatoes. To finish, the volcano cake provided just the right touch of sweetness to end the evening. It is definitely a good idea to reserve a table in advance if you want a better viewpoint of the ruins. The restaurant is beautifully designed and can accommodate larger parties or intimate dates. The prices were higher than some spots in Lima but fair considering the quality of food and the ambiance.

This restaurant in placed in a privileged place and the food is fantastic. However, I felt waiters are not there to make your experience unique like the surroundings but to do their job and that’s it. Maybe the administration needs to change the way they operate; I was assisted by, at least, 5 different waiters who didn’t know what stage of dinner I was in or about the last request I had made. This place has the potential to be in the top of every list. Don’t waste the opportunity.
