Great experience at Henssler Sushibar, i visited Henssler Sushibar yesterday and had a really good experience. The place is cozy, stylish and welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes the evening enjoyable. The Japanese inspired dishes were fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented.
Considering the quality and the overall vibe, the price felt absolutely fair: we spent around €95 per person and left fully satisfied.
A great choice if you’re looking for modern Japanese inspired cuisine in a comfortable setting. I would definitely come back.

First off, the Sushi was some of the best I ever had and I say this having lived in Vancouver for two years. My server was friendly and I was happy to get a seat. However, being told I only have one hour and then almost on the dot, being told to pay up and leave, while there were still free tables, made me feel unappreciated as a guest who did not eat or drink on the cheap. I had already requested the bill and was finishing up. Would I go back, yes. Would I make a reservation – definitely.

I went there with my two sons, one of them mentally retarded.
The food is spicy, very good – in fact the best vegetarian sushi I ever had and the service is absolutely top-notch. The dining room is large, about 60 tables. In our time slot, the few guest were seated at five tables. It took a while to get the starters (40 minutes), but they were made by order – so okay for me.
The ambiente is nice, not over-decorated and there is enough space to enjoy privacy at your lunch/dining.
BUT: Perhaps you see, that I rated the ambiente with 1-star – why?
Look at pic number six. “You can not sit with us, when you need a fork.” My handicaped son need one and the waiters brought it within seconds. Thanks for that. But what do you think feels a disabled person or perhaps an older guest about this sentence?
For me this is a derogatory sentence. Do I recommend this restaurant? Of course! I will come again in March an hope there will be annother sentence on the wall. Here is my suggestion:

Try to put yourself in the shoes of disabled/older people. Would you want to eat in a restaurant where it’s clearly written on the wall that you are not welcome?

Everything was great. The food was Amazing, the service was excellent, friendly staff and chefs, nice atmosphere. We ordered 4 courses menu and some drinks. Everything was great, it was such a nice taste experience and evening. Recommended!

Surprisingly Impressed – and I’m Not Even a Sushi Fan!
I’ll admit it upfront—I’m not usually into sushi. But there should be a good reason why this restaurant is already decades long..
The quality of the fish was top-notch, the presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were incredibly fresh and well-balanced.
What really stood out was the variety—they always have something new!The staff was super friendly and happy to make recommendations, which made the whole experience even better.
And they even decorated the table for my boyfriend’s bday! So cute!
If you’re a die-hard sushi lover, you’ll be in heaven. Highly recommend!

All in all a wonderful experience with very delicious food. The sushi was definitely special and something I never had before.
The service was very forthcoming and truly professional. Even though the dining room was getting fuller by the minute, the service was right on time.
The Prices were a little bit high for my taste, but not uncommon, especially in that area. The quality of the food they presented justified the prices anyhow at the end.
Definitely recommendable.

The service is good, all the staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is good, nice ”industrial” modern style.
The food…….it’s pretty much ”Europeanized” sushi. For German/European standard, it’s good sushi.
But for Japanese standard, that’s too much sause on top. Eating tempura with mayo and dipping sauce, not with dashi wasn’t really for Japanese. We ordered the MIX sushi plate, all the sushi and sashimi were covered with sause, which kills the actual taste of fish, which was a bit dissapointing.
Using paprika for sushi is just not a good idea. Paprika has too strong taste for sensitive sushi.
Sake was good, goes well with sushi.
It was very nice to have a wet hand towel, I felt like being in Japan.

The best sushi I have eaten in Germany. Really good, be aware that the price is a little bit high but it is worth it. I will come back for sure. Everything is fresh and yummy. Make a reservation because a lot of people go there , no wonder it is so delicious. Staff very friendly. Perfect for special moments.

Great place! Very good service, the only thing that made me question 5 stars is host who does not speak English. But all the waiters do speak English! Atmosphere and interior is interesting, but a bit not cozy. Food was great, a bit overpriced, as, for example, crème brûlée was not breaking properly. Overall good impression, strong 4 ⭐️
