On the sign outside the restaurant, it specifically states that they speak English. That was barely the case for the service we received. As soon as we entered to get a table, we were told “schnell, schnell!”, to get to our table fast even though the restaurant was nowhere near full. The waitress did not show us to the table either. We had to guess where she wanted us.
An Italian guy took our order. He asked us “what do you want” in a very rude tone and seemed like he really couldn’t be bothered taking our order. He practically rolled his eyes at me when I asked how much to get a side-order of fries with my meal.
The food was very average and definitely not worth the money. We received warm tap water with no ice cubes on a hot summer day (29 °C). I guess that was too much to ask for.
The only positive part were the fries, which were well seasoned, and the view was beautiful. The fries were served with store-bought mayo and ketchup, which the waiter slammed onto the table, presented in their original packaging.

A fantastic restaurant with phenomenal service. I highly recommend the fish and seafood dishes. Fresh and fragrant. If you’re planning to visit in the evening, consider making a reservation in advance.

Lake view lunch was a feeling of “a dream come true” in switzerland. Food was awesome. Birds chirping, Ducks swimming,Boats moving all made fabulous environment.

Smth is wrong- the food is just NOT ok… 41chf for cold, tasteless fish with rice. Tea is Lipton bags for 5 CHF… waiters almost never smile (except young girl) we asked for the manager and oh boy…this Ukrainian lady with fake lips was just rude as hell…

They were closed but they opened the kitchen especially for us and made fish for the kids. The Sri Lankan cook and the server who accommodated us so late at night were extremely generous and sweet and it’ll be a night and experience my family will remember forever and we’ll be forever grateful for their generosity and kindness
