I ate in a lot of restaurants with Indian food but this one was special as it was also my gift to myself to celebrate my name day.
I really enjoyed the food, the service of Mr Sam was impeccable and the food was amazing.
I fell in love with the red pepper in the mango drink. I usually don’t like these sweet cocktails but everybody was praising it so I went for it. And haven’t regretted it.
When in Lucerne, I will be definitely back again.

The restaurant is very busy on Saturday evening. We had not made a reservation However the lady on the front desk was very accommodating.

Very nice ambience and lovely service by Sam. We ordered paneer tikka masala and dal Makhni along with laccha paratha! Everything tasted very nice and fresh. Though prices are a bit steep but guess that’s how it is in the country.

What a delightful surprise in Luzern. After days of cheese, pork, and potatoes, it was wonderful to have some exceptionally flavorful food. The Paneer Tikka Masala, the Spinach and Cheese Naan, and the Mango Spritzer were favorites. The service was friendly and very attentive. We had a wonderful evening.

We had such a great experience at Gourmindia in Luzern. The food was fantastic ~ full of flavour and beautifully balanced. The portion sizes were generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. We started with their sharing tower of starters, which was so tasty and a perfect way to try a bit of everything.
The curries (lamb, prawn, and chicken) were all spot on ~ just spicy enough to enjoy the heat without overpowering the flavours. And if it’s a bit much, their cooling cucumber and yoghurt raita does the trick perfectly. The naan breads were fresh and fluffy, and the mocktails were delicious too.
The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond, recommending dishes that turned out to be absolute winners. We’ll definitely be back!

OMG where do I start on this? It was one of the best indian food place I have had outside India. I do travel a lot but haven’t come across such a great indian restaurant anywhere outside India. The food, the presentation, the ambience, the service.. you name it and they have it. Specially our server Kenny (I also took picture with him so you can relate) was exceptional. His service was top notch and he took really good care of us while we where there. As you can tell from the pictures of the food that it was an excellent place to eat after a long day of hike or sight seeing in Lucerne. Regardless of what you will order from menu, your taste buds will not be disappointed. We had all variety of food from veg options to meat but it was so tasty and yummy. Must visit while in Lucerne.

The food was exceptionally delicious. I tried the Chicken Tikka Biryani, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked, accompanied by a fragrant and tasty Raita. The Butter Naan was crispy and delightful, especially when paired with the spicy and rich Lamb Roganjosh curry. The Mango Lassi stood out with its unique and refreshing taste.
For dessert, I enjoyed the Gulab Jamun, Ice Cream, and Halwa, all of which were delightful. I highly recommend GourmIndia to anyone in the Luzern. 5/5
