If you’re a true sushi lover and you have been to Japan to try a proper sushi place where the chef makes and serves sushi in front of you, then you have to try the sushi menu tasting here. It’s quite pricey, 850kr per person but the quality is the best. I have not found anywhere else in Denmark has this similar good quality of sushi.

Best fusion gourmet restaurant, for menu concept, preparation and service. Top ingredients, a bit of molecular cuisine and creativity in the meal structure. Tastes heavenly! They proactively explain the plate characteristics, they were skilled in suggesting the matching wine and avle to satisfy any special request you may have. Fantastic drink choice, we were offered also a taste of the best special reserve cointreau they had. Great view. Upscale, worth every cent. Winner.

We had the sushi tasting menu which was around 1000dkk per person. The food was generally good, however, it was not as good as I would expect at that price point.
The menu consisted of some starter snacks, sashimi platter, various nigiri, California rolls, a meat dish, and dessert. Generally I would say that they used quite high quality ingredients, however, that the taste left something to be desired. The sashimi was good, without being excellent. The nigiri was OK, however, could have had better rice. The sushi rolls were quite poor and lacked taste. If you prefer sushi for only rolls Sushi Fresh is much better. The meat dish was fine. The dessert was quite poor, where we were served an amazing looking apple cake that tasted very little.
In general it seems like they were out of their comfort area making sushi, however, there were still a great variety and very interesting dishes.
As for the service, I was amazed at how poor it was. We were served by three different people during the evening, and only one of them actually presented our food for us.
To conclude, I would not recommend the sushi tasting menu nor the restaurant as a whole.

I had the February 3 course menu. The menu was very good, but the cook loved salt too much to my liking. First course was by far the best – salmon and scallops: Very delicious!! Second serving was duck-inspired soup -nice, but salty. Third course was angus beef – medium to well done – a pity, and a glaice sauce that so salty that I could not finish the dish. I got an extra glass of wine from the wine menu as a compensation, but I was still disappointed overall. The servant was emphatic.
