What an amazing lunch! We were welcomed and ate like kings! The setting was comfortable and the staff was friendly! Even the chef came to our table to check on how everything tasted.
The food was beyond delicious! The attention to detail was impressive and the taste reflected the work that went into every bite! My only advice is to slow down and enjoy! There was so much food and if you can’t finish you can always take it home (which we did with our desserts). I am so happy we chose to eat at restaurant forte, it was the perfect place to celebrate Valentine’s, a few days early, and can’t wait to go back.
After parking in visitor by the uccu center make your way to the lower level doors (where the ticket office is) and, once inside, head south down the hall to easily find the restaurant.

First time eating here, Chef Todd Leonard and staff really treated us to a fantastic dinner. One of the best dinners I’ve had in a while. We asked to be surprised for the appetizer and they brought out pork belly, with jalapeño grits and maple syrup. I was hesitant at first but was wowed by the delicious flavors. Our steak was cooked to perfection and everything was just amazing, highly recommended!

I had no issues with their reservation system, abs I’ve eaten there three times. They do have limited reservations because it isn’t really so much a restaurant as an event, dinners that happen maybe 5 times a semester in a small restaurant. I believe these dinners are tests for their culinary students. You just have to realize that if you’re reserving you have to call early. No big deal.
That said, the food is great. It’s prepared by culinary students but tastes amazing! You get a six course gourmet meal for $20! Every time I’ve went it has been a fantastic experience.

I enjoyed my evening here. The food was good and it wss fun to have a 6 code meal. I also liked that they just serve you what they serve you, you don’t need to look over a menu. So that’s nice for a date. I did feel that a few courses were over seasoned though.
