Gorgeous restaurant with incredible sunset view! We booked to sit outside at 7:45pm and had our pick of tables. Service was quick and food came out fast due to the kitchen not being too busy yet. We only dropped a star on service due to the waiters seeming a little rushed to turn the table, but they were all friendly. We ordered some bread to share and the seafood noodles paella and were told it might take up to 25 minutes. However it came within around 10/15 minutes and was easily the best paella we’ve had in a very long time. The price per person may seem expensive but it has far more seafood than your bog standard seafood paella including crab, octopus, squid, cuttlefish, clams, mussels, a large prawn and a langostine. We loved it!

Upon arrival, the restaurant was almost empty, we were escorted to our table without a reservation by a gentleman with a very direct manner, not much hospitality. Our waiter was excellent with the service he provided but the food delivered was far from excellent! Ordered cheese croquettes to start which were the best part of the whole meal, little bit salty but tasty.
Then came a very average grilled sea bass fillet and a dreadful plate of stewed beef cheeks. The beef cheeks were tough and flavourless. I had difficulty cutting them with the knife, stewed beef cheeks should be tender and easily pulled apart if cooked correctly. The waiter dealt with this very effectively and I ordered the wagyu beef burger instead. The burger again at €19.50 was below average and the accompanied curly fried potatoes were Luke warm…
The waiter deducted the beef cheeks from the bill and apologised for the poor standard of the dish. Very disappointing experience which we hoped would be a great last night meal before returning home.

These pictures are from 2 different days. Yes, we went back and it didn’t disapppoint.
Grilled sea bass and grilled bream. Both delicious, tasty and well proportioned. The staff were very very friendly ( Robert for sure) and waiting time was non existent. They all do a great job there – that is why they are popular. Views are amazing and location is perfect. 5*

Having recently returned from our recent trip to Menorca, my husband and I still rate Es Pins as our favourite place to wine and dine in Santo Tomas.
You’re given a warm welcome upon arrival and the restaurant offers one of the best views in town. Manu runs a tight ship and it shows within his staff as their service and demeanor is excellent.
(We shall especially miss Jose Manuel, Adrian & Robert for their fantastic service and keeping us entertained of an evening)
I could find no fault with the food and I am a very fussy eater and any dietary needs were accommodated for with a smile. All the meat dishes (of which we tried a few – fillet steak on hot stone, ribs, lamb shoulder to name a few) were soft, tender and full of flavour. The fish dishes were also fresh and clean and if you don’t try the garlic prawns then you’ll be doing yourself a disservice.
Portion sizes are very generous and worth every penny and it’s not too costly either.
With so many positives you may be thinking I was paid to write such a good review but it could not be further from the truth. It was a privilege to eat such good food and pay for the service we recieved.
They are also due to open a rooftop bar so we can’t wait to visit again next year and see what they done.
We shall miss our Es Pins visits but rest firmly on our memories until we return.

The Food was decent .
Nothing special about it.
The service was a bit slow.
We had a great view of the sea.
They had fans which helpedus cool down.
But there were a lot of flies and they were annoying.

What a find! The staff were all very welcoming, in particular Manu who greeted us warmly on arrival & gave us a good table despite no reservation.

Our server Robert was also a thoroughly lovely man. The menu choice was good, reasonably priced and delicious – large portions also.

We will definitely be back on our annual Menorca holiday next year.

We ate here during a holiday over 20 years ago and decided a revisit was necessary. We did dinner and lunch. Bearing in mind, we were a family of 11, and we had not prebooked the lunch they were still able to accommodate us. On a Sunday! With 5 children under 11 the staff were brilliant. As for the food, it was wonderful. The paella was magnificent. So yummy. Thank you, Es Pins and especially Robert, we will see you another time.
