It’s a small, simple restaurant with a decent menu selection. The ambiance was nice – try were playing Latin music throughout my time at the resto. I had the salmon with vegetables and it was quite tasty and portion size good. The staff were polite and attentive. Will definitely eat here again. Merci!

Absolutely amazing! I can honestly say I had the best steak of my life at Entrecôte Couronnée. The meat was cooked to absolute perfection — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Every bite was simply unforgettable.
The desserts were just as impressive, especially the brownie with ice cream — rich, warm, and perfectly balanced with the cold, creamy ice cream. It was heavenly!

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Entrecôte Couronnée in Pâquis district in Geneva, Switzerland.
The restaurant is clearly a long-established and old-fashioned spot in Geneva, specializing in beef entrecôte served with their signature herb sauce, fries, vegetables, and a green salad as a starter. While the entrecôte was good, one of our group members ordered fish, and the dish did not match the menu description. The promised ratatouille was replaced by generic vegetables, and an unexpected cream sauce was served instead—an issue for our lactose-intolerant friend. However, the staff addressed this quickly by replating without the sauce and even adding extra fish, which we appreciated.
Overall, the food was good but not outstanding, with prices that are fair. The dining experience, however, was marred by the atmosphere. The restaurant was very loud, with tightly packed tables that made moving around quite uncomfortable. While it has a charm rooted in tradition, it might benefit from some updates to the interior layout for a more enjoyable experience.

Excellent local French restaurant at a reasonable price! Paid 67 CHF for a four course meal (starter, two mains, and dessert). The starter was homemade foie gras with ginger toast and seafood (sea bream?) tartare. The mains and desserts were incredible as well! Would highly recommend the steaks, the pistachio crème brûlée and the chocolate cake.

We went here for a dinner. The food was good, nothing special but still feels like homemade. The waiter tho!! Was absolutely amazing, he was running around ALONE making cocktails, taking orders, doing absolutely everything and doing it right and somehow he even got time to make jokes and being super comfortable to be around. Thank you, Jérôme for all your work! We will definitely comeback on our next vacation just to see him again.

We showed with a large group of around 10 people all with our suitcases and luggage and were seated outside along the sidewalk. We ordered the prefixe menu to keep things simple. It was certainly solid.
The starter plate had a good variety of raw fishes, the fish was wonderfully cooked in a delicious sauce, and the meat was very filling in a large portion and cooked nicely. Dessert was amazing – from the mango mousse to panna cotta, etc.
