Super underrated spot! We went here out of the blue to check it out and it was empty. The staff was awesome! Super helpful and very attentive. The food was delicious.

Food is excellent! Service was fast and attentive. Recommend this place for great Mexican food. I will be back for sure, I prefer this place over el toro. As good as the food is i would think this place would be busy on a Saturday night. Hope to keep this place around. Get in there and enjoy some good flavored Mexican cuisine!

The reviews on quality and slower service aren’t wrong. The staff was slow but very nice. The beef flautas were decent, one was pretty dry and chewy. The rice was pretty tasty. The chicken mole had a nice earthy taste. It wasn’t my favorite, but it has a unique flavor. The salsa for the chips was good. The fruit punch for the home made drinks reminded me of eating a jolly rancher. The real appeal is the atmosphere. I haven’t been in a Mexican restaurant on the east side that was that thoughtful and interesting for its decor. I’d definitely come for drinks here. The mixed drink I had was weak.

El Charrito is so underrated! The space is beautiful, the vibe is lovely, the food is AMAZING. You couldn’t want any more!
They have great snacks and happy hour deals, as well as amazing meal options. Best horchata I’ve ever had, and the salsa verde is to die for.

This place is an absolute Gem!!! The tacos are made with homemade corn tortillas! The El pastor is so favorable!! Also this is place has the best Agua de Fresca ever!! Made with real fruit not artificial one bit! Try the Melon one!! I will forever come here!!
