This restaurant is an affiliate of the wedding venue La La Chance, located across the street. Enjoy authentic French cuisine featuring locally sourced ingredients while taking in the lush Kansui Park. Cuisine Française La Chance on the first floor offers a relaxing meal. Even the Emperor has dined here in Toyama. Weddings have also been held in the adjacent glass-walled room.
For a casual snack and tea with a park view, head to Brasserie La Chance on the first basement floor.
Lunch here starts at a reasonable ¥1,500.
The staff wear the same uniforms as the first-floor Cuisine, so service is impeccable.
The atmosphere is reminiscent of a Parisian cafe, isn’t it? ☕️ lol
I skipped dessert and ordered bread, soup, today’s main dish, and a drink for ¥1,500. Today’s soup was cold vichyssoise with butter and white bread. The main dish was grilled chicken with mustard sauce. For tea, I chose iced milk tea. Refills of bread are free. The grilled chicken had a crispy, fragrant, and juicy skin, and the mustard sauce was perfect for summer. The accompanying salad was fresh and delicious. The ¥500 course menu allows you to choose between meat or fish as your main course.
On a summer afternoon under blue skies, the cool interior was comfortable, making it the perfect place for a leisurely Sunday brunch.
Unlike the cuisine restaurant on the first floor, reservations are not accepted for the Brasserie lunch. Please expect to line up from 11 a.m. when the restaurant opens. Thank you for the delicious meal. Thank you.

The food was delicious and the staff service was excellent!
It was a Saturday, but there were only two other groups there. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. It seemed like there were more reservations on the second floor!
The 4,500 yen course menu was enough to fill me up! Personally, I’m glad I made a reservation on the first floor because it feels less formal.
There were several types of drinks available, including wine, sangria, and shandy, as well as non-alcoholic sparkling drinks.

To celebrate a birthday and a retirement, we came here to enjoy a meal while taking in the beautiful night view.

I had the 4000 yen course for lunch. I used a shareholder benefit ticket to go from 4000 yen to 2700 yen. I rate it 2700 yen. 4000 yen is a bit of a poor value. If you’re spending 4000 yen, the 6000 yen course seems overwhelmingly better. At least from looking at the menu.
The 4000 yen course has a limited number of dishes, but every dish was delicious. You can choose between meat or fish for your main course. I chose a fish dish on this day. The service was also good. The restaurant is fully glass-walled, so you can get a panoramic view of Kansui Park, but it might be too bright on a sunny day during the day?

The view was simply amazing. Since the ceremony was attended by relatives from far away, I’m really glad we chose this venue. Kansui Park was amazing during the day and the illuminations at night. The food was also fantastic, and all the guests were very satisfied.

This is probably the best French restaurant in Toyama. The food is sophisticated, the location is excellent, and the French cuisine is all about the extraordinary. The prices are very reasonable compared to French restaurants in the city. I highly recommend it.
