The service here is definitely not the best, our server (I didn’t get his name) was not the nicest and when we asked for some butter he said, “no butter, use oil.” And he was a little rude to us because I’m not sure if this is the reason but I think he thought we didn’t order enough, because before we ordered the fried calamari he was a little rude, and after we ordered the fried calamari he immediately became nice and friendly, again I’m not sure if that’s the reason but that’s just what I think.
The atmosphere was pretty nice although I think that they definitely expanded over time because there are a lot of twists and turns throughout the whole restaurant. It took a us probably 3 minutes just to walk from the table to the door.
Overall, our experience was pretty good and the food was great, but just be prepared, the service is not exactly excellent. I recommend this place for tourist because clearly it is a tourist trap with expensive food and hidden fees like a water fee. I would not recommend this place to people looking for a nice quiet restaurant.
The food was just amazing I’m going to be thinking about the lasagne forever.
When I came back the second time the staff recognised and welcomed me warmly and the owner even came over to welcome me and say she was happy to see me back.
This is definitely a restaurant I’d recommend to go to if you can and I can’t wait to be back!!
For our main courses, we had the classic Bistecca alla Fiorentina and the Steak with Peppercorn Sauce – both were cooked to perfection. A special mention goes to the French Fries, which are unique and very tasty!
Good lasagna , fish, zucchini carpaccio and the best tiramisu we had in Italy.
